  1. We'll probably give McInnes another contract extension after this.
  2. We’ve got f**k all to lose. Get the ball on the deck and have a go. Hoofball isn’t working.
  3. Finally got round to taking some better pictures. Calling it shite would be generous [emoji23]
  4. On the *** note, I've not seen the reason for McInnes turning down Rangers in the press or social media etc. One of our directors told me that he rejected them after being offered less money than the £900k/yr he is on with us. There is a termination clause in his contract which safeguards the club financially in the event of parting company. I don't think the fans really have an issue with his previous employers, more that the style of play has been utterly horrendous for the past 18 months. Most folk could deal with that when the team was picking up results, but our luck has ran out and we seem to have lost the ability to keep clean sheets. We were lucky St Mirren didn't put four past us FFS. It's only the end of September yet we are effectively reduced to only competing for the Scottish Cup for the remainder of the season. The players signed over the last two windows have left a fair amount to be desired, but they are crippled by McInnes' tactics. Why sign players only to play them out of the positions they have played for their entire careers? That comes down to either arrogance or ignorance. Constantly sitting in and playing square balls from one defender to another is horrific to watch. We have a squad full of attackers yet set the team out most weeks to sit in and defend. Not having a go at teams at home is hard to accept. Instead of worrying about the opponents, we should really be setting out our team to let them worry about us! The argument a lot of people make is the "where were we before him" and "who will we replace him with"? There is no doubt McInnes has done a good job at bringing the club into the 21st century, but to say we couldn't attract another decent manager on that sort of money is wrong. From the position the club was in when he took over, the only direction possible was upwards. The board are reluctant to give him more money for transfer fees as he has squandered the majority of the money he has been given during his tenure. I really hope we can turn things around but a bad result at the weekend is going to massively increase the pressure on him. One of the worst parts of this situation is the growing apathy amongst our support. The amount of people who have simply stopped going to Pittodrie and stopped caring as a result of our style of play and results is only going to increase.
  5. I really hope we draw Partick in the Scottish Cup. "Ian McCall, w**k w**k w**k" is one of my all-time favourite chants Edit- Since when was "w ank" censored on here?! Sort it out mods FFS.
  6. Sign players with poor injury records and act surprised when they get injured and are out for weeks/months. Classic Aberdeen. I've possibly said this before on here, but the lack of signings/investment after the Rijeka games and then the St Mirren loss was negligent and naive on McInnes' part. It was as clear as it could ever be that we were lacking strength in depth as well as quality. The injuries will be a convenient excuse for McInnes to try and justify our horrendous form and "style" of football. The amount of injuries we are getting in training this season suggests we are doing something wrong. At least McInnes will be forced to play the kids and actually give them some decent game time as opposed to 5 mins at the end every week.
  7. I think both clubs will acknowledge this and there'll be a minutes applause instead of silence. The **** aren't exactly in a position to criticise conduct during memorials but we should be aiming to be better. Sadly, we have a fair amount of reptiles in our support also.
  8. Spotted this in a charity shop window for £2 this afternoon and absolutely had to buy it. It truly embodies the spirit of Scottish Football in that it is fucking terrible. This got me thinking - What are the weirdest, most daft bits of Scottish Football memorabilia you guys have seen over the years? There is a really good variety of age groups of members on here so surely there are some absolute minters.
  9. It's refreshing to have a Scottish Football show that isn't Bigot-Centric. Cowan and Cosgrove are brilliant duo and complement each other well. Cosgrove is very knowledgeable and articulate whilst Cowan is a bit thick but often hits a good one-liner and seems like a decent bloke. I don't think there's been a single episode that i've heard where I haven't laughed at least once. The craic can be excellent and as a lover of puns, the "team of the week" usually serves up a few laughs. When you compare the show to it's competition (talksport, 5 live etv), it's the best show in it's class by a distance.
  10. McKenna and Devlin when fit are a cracking partnership.
  11. We have a heap of decent kids who never get a chance because managers insist on playing anyone and everyone who just happen to play in England. Players without a real connection to the country who only play for us because they weren't good enough to play for the countries of their birth. Do you think you'll get the same effort and passion from someone who'd never even been to Scotland before their first cap as you would from someone who was born and bred here who've dreamt their whole lives of representing their country?
  12. If you think this is bad, just wait till Monday.
  13. Maybe because this is an international match where people represent the countries in which they are born. The grandparent rule is a heap of shite.
  14. Bigot? How the hell can a *** call anyone a bigot, let alone a weirdo?
  15. I know it's hard, but if you look past Jack's quite sizeable cuntiness there is a good player in there. He does the ugly stuff pretty well and is good at retaining possession, if a little negative.
  16. O'Donnell is by far the weak link in a team not exactly brimming with talent. Players should be picked on current form and ability, and Killie have been fucking woeful this season. Phillips is shite and not even Scottish. We were playing well until we scored and then decided to sit in and park the bus. Being so negative at home is ridiculous.
  17. Nope, he's right. Certainly within Scotland anyway. If released outwith a window you can't sign for another club until the next window opens, hence the flurry of releases by clubs on deadline day.
  18. You'd think the c*nts would be a bit more sympathetic about death after going through it with their club.
  19. The competition for being the biggest c*nt in Govan is usually pretty fierce but that tadger has just annihlated them.
  20. Give Anderson more game time and use May's wage to take Michael Hector back on loan. Would give the fans a bit of optimism at least.
