  1. December was always going to be massive for us as injuries began to clear up and we faced the other teams in the bottom half of the table. The summer recruitment was risky, bringing older players such as Broadfoot and Power in. In the first quarter they both looked absolutely done, but they've adapted and have both fit form at exactly the right time. We've stopped conceding goals, our midfield has gelled and we've got quality at the top end of the pitch. Strapp returning was an unexpected signing, but he's been imperious. We're by no means in the clear when it comes to the relegation battle, but I'm reasonably confident there will be at least two teams who are worse than us between now and the end of the season. If we can keep Strapp I'd consider us an outsider for 4th place, but if we have another run of injuries then we could be struggling as badly as we did in the first quarter.
  2. Russ Bray's eyes have clearly gone, it's taking him a ridiculously long time to calculate scores.
  3. Absolutely, McNally and his main character syndrome will dive into any cause he thinks he can use to make himself look good. Definitely one for the watching, IMO.
  4. Aye absolutely, that was the moment. There's not a chance he's coming back from 3-1.
  5. I don't know if it's been a coffee or a wee line in the break, but Chisnall looks in far better shape now, and so do his darts.
  6. Chisnall is definitely steaming.
  7. Cross - nothing against him. Beating Feel Taylor in his last appearance will forever be to his credit. Littler - seems like a decent wee guy. He's already upset Liverpool fans, which again is absolutely to his credit. Williams - the very worst sort of gammon c**t. Thinks Tommy Robinson is a brave speaker of truth, has a Union Jack flying in his back garden and will donate approximately 10% of his prize money to the Reform Party. Humphries - torn faced whiny little arsehole. Complained about the Ally Pally crowd giving him a hard time. Wet wipe VL vibes. Chisnall - nothing against him. Excellent scorer on his day but bottles doubles in big moments.
  8. MVG was throwing 'dart board in the spare room' darts there. I can't remember there were so many objectionable c***s left at this stage of a World Championships before. Shite.
  9. Two bottle jobs in the same match is some achievement. f**k me. f**k the darts. Shite game anyway.
  10. Anderson has popped his arm back into its socket and decided he's a dart player again. Get Dolan hounded.
  11. Bunting wilting under pressure as always. He is as talented as they come but absolutely cannot deliver against a top player. Hitting a 107 average against a qualifier means f**k all if you're as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike when someone else brings their A game onto the stage.
  12. Absolutely. Him and John Part are my two favourite commentators. Aye, panic over I reckon. Gary's felt his way into the match and is now scoring well and looking tidy on the doubles. He could go deep into the tournament...
  13. Gary could be in a spot of bother here, Boris is the better finisher of the two, and he's kept up with Gary's scoring. Quite concerning.
  14. An English player moaning about the Ally Pally crowd is honestly staggering.
  15. Barring some moments of individual magic from Muirhead, we're badly struggling for goals this season. We lack a capable out ball at times with Oakley still not fully match sharp and no Quitongo for at least another month, combine this with our defensive record and I'm not overly confident about this one. Hopefully we've been working on set piece routines to help drag us through games until we get our attackers back up to full speed.
  16. Two goalkeepers who are capable of playing regularly in the Championship is a huge waste of resources for a club of our size.
  17. I'm fine with Broadfoot coming in as backup, but I'm hoping that we have someone coming in who can play left back and cover centre back when required to make sure that Broadfoot is fourth choice at CB rather than third choice. I'm hoping that, with a relatively young defensive unit at the club, Broadfoot's experience is going to help them develop. Waters is a known quantity, absolutely no issue with him staying either.
  18. Scott Fox booked for time wasting a minute before we score the winner. De-fucking-licious.
  19. Unless we manage to get ourselves promoted, Strapp will be away in the summer. He's earned the right to test himself at a higher level, and he's more than good enough to deliver at a higher level.
  20. ...or we'd be looking to take three points again, like we have on the last two occasions we've played you.
