    I’d rather spend a little bit to get Dhanda in now and just accept Fraser isn’t happening. Can reassess that option in summer if we want and Charlton know what they’re doing. Would take Penrice as a second choice left back to Cochrane, assuming we’re viewing Kingsley as an out and out centre half now. Do fear Cochrane might be off in the summer but hopeful we’ll get a decent chunk him.

    I want us to bring in a first choice right back though. Difficult in January perhaps but doesn’t mean I’m happy for us to settle with just bloating the squad. I think we’ve already more depth at centre half with Halks, Kent, Sibbs and Kingsley all able deputies in there.

    No, while we all know we need a right back I’d be wanting someone better than Atkinson to come in and improve the team - I don’t think Brandon would do that. Holt wouldn’t get a look in at us tbh. Today was more of the same, very little quality but job done. Certainly can’t complain the more we extend the gap in 3rd. Long may it continue!

    Aye, that’s fair. Just thought it was them being bad rather than us being any good but can only beat who you’re playing. Very apt comparison with the previous side we had. A right back is, still, the priority for Jan. A second striker wouldn’t go a miss either. Probably see more bodies out than in I think

    I thought it would be 0-0 at kick off, it seemed destined to be heading that way but I suppose we must be at least not bad if we’ve snatched the victory. f**k knows I guess, but as long as we keep going the way we are let’s not ask too many questions!

    Effective rather than good, imo. I didn’t even think we were particularly good against Celtic, they were rotten while we were clinical, organised and disciplined. St Mirren was surprisingly routine where we didn’t have to get going. Last night we stole a win with a bit of magic in an otherwise frantic, but poor quality, affair. All in all, I’d rather win badly than lose well.
