  1. Channel 4 news reported last night that Arthur has yet to be laid to rest 'due to a family dispute'. As far as I'm aware, this hasn't been reported elsewhere. Given the extreme nature of the case, it would be surprising if other news sources didn't highlight it. Has Channel 4's assertion been corroborated elsewhere?
  2. Well done sir!! Only against Kilmarnock - we almost always get spiked by them in the West End.
  3. I live in the vicinity, and pass the Hall is on the road to the supermarket, so I can hardly miss it. I was booster jabbed with the Moderna on Monday plus the flu jab, nothing else. If it came across otherwise, then I apologise for poor expression.
  4. Two-hour long wait outside Partick Burgh Hall for vaccination today. Not for the first time this week, either. Waited 70 minutes for my jab at the same venue last Monday. And those queues are due to people with appointment times confirmed by letter, not walk-ups. Also seems they've run out of vaccines for the over 65s. WTF is going on with the planning at this venue??
  5. Soller (NW Mallorca) is the place to go if you want authentic as opposed to touristy. Palma itself is lovely, especially the old town.
  6. Well done. Even I didn't think anyone could turn that observation into something worthy of shite like that. That it's you - whom I consider to be a reasonably balanced poster on these subjects - speaks volumes about the lack of objectivity in even the best of Sevco's support.
  7. Has he though? Probably more the case that after his initial burst of success, defenders have been told to hit him anyway they legally can, and Kyogo is finding out that the game is a little more - industrial - in these parts. Let's not begin to suggest that defenders in Scotland are anything more honest than cheating, conniving b*****ds. They may not be Claudio Gentile, but they certainly aren't Giacinto Fachetti.
  8. Putting Wales out on penalties in the final? Great for the GIRUY Bale factor, if not the nerves.
  9. What is the real reason why Tavernier gets preferred to Patterson for Sevco? Tavernier was absolutely howling for two goals today. Although Patterson isn't fully developed yet as a defender, he still has to be better than Tavernier, no??
  10. Don't forget the case of Henrikh Mkhitaryan (Armenian) - from Wikipedia: Mkhitaryan was at the centre of a controversy ahead of the 2019 UEFA Europa League Final in Baku, Azerbaijan between Arsenal and Chelsea; Armenia and Azerbaijan do not have international relations and people of Armenian descent are forbidden entry to Azerbaijan without prior formal authorisation. He was promised guarantees of security, but did not travel over safety fears. Mkhitaryan and Arsenal ultimately decided that he would not travel with the squad to the final match, as he previously opted twice not to travel to Azerbaijan, the first was in 2015 to play for Borussia Dortmund against Gabala, and the second was in 2018 for Arsenal against Qarabağ.
  11. Che Adams was the mutts nutts tonight. Liam Cooper was the absolute sauce though.
  12. Hmm. You were probably being humorous. Craig Gordon's competitive penalty save record is 8 from 61 (tonight included - shoot-outs not included).
  13. I'll try again: On what basis would he have been lucky (your words) to have scored the penalty?
  14. They would not have been lucky to score a properly awarded penalty. That they didn't was down to our best player on the evening and astonishing awareness by Keiran Tierney on the rebound.
  15. How would you improve it? Cannot have people going into final group games on one yellow knowing a second would be meaningless and acting like Claudio Gentile?
  16. Pretty much where I was (MoM) before the penalty. The booking was not deliberate though. It was a reaction tackle - dare I say inexperienced? Either way, his development will be massively improved by those eventful 90 minutes - far better than the last month sitting on his arse on the Ibrox subs bench.
  17. Stop being an arse. Patterson got a goal and an assist tonight - both of them vital in the overall map. As a Scotland fan I am fucking delighted. By the same standards of analysis, he also gave away a penalty, took a cheap yellow card, and was poor on two of Moldova's three dangerous attacks in the first half when the game was 0-0. Even you - whom I consider to be a reasonably objective analyst and poster - can accept that overall that is a flawed performance?
  18. They've had three chances so far G51 - Scotland cannot cough up openings like your club side do.
  19. So far so Scotland. Superb finish from Patterson, but let's not get carried away here. Two of Moldova's three openings have come down his side.
