Season just finished he was outstanding v Ross County just before New Year (2-0), and very good v Kilmarnock in April. But as you alluded, these were too few compared to the top 6 season.

This. Stevie Lawless did so much unnoticed donkey work. He's a footballer's footballer - does a lot of vital digging that the average fan doesn't appreciate. We were noticeably less fluent in midfield without him. His stint at LWB this season was worthy of POY on its own (not that there is a lot of competition for that accolade). Sorry to see him go, best wishes to him. Won't miss his tweets though............

Charlie Mulgrew would be a great signing. Sadly given that he's got 11 goals and 2 assists so far this season, we've got a better chance of signing Keith Moon than we have of Charlie Mulgrew.
