Big pressure on the new players to step up and replace the players that are away. I think we need another goalkeeper. A left back although I would like to see Lamie give a proper run at centre back. Out the strikers we have who’s going to score consistently for us? I just can’t see it at the moment need someone else in. Hope holt knows what he’s doing. If we are getting rid of Byrne because he didn’t want to be here then that’s fair enough. But if it’s because he wasn’t going to play that’s an absolute shambles. He’s by far one of the best players at the club and it’s maybe been since he’s not agreed contract offer that livi stopped playing him.... why would that make him want to stay longer? He’s by far one of the most talented players in squad and we should have done everyone we could have to keep him. Thank you for everythingByrne and you will be missed. Club legend

One thing for sure is at least a couple midfielders will need to leave. Byrne might not be the quickest but I would say he has the best football brain out all our midfielders. Pittman has great energy and is a real workhorse. Keags is great at getting stuck in and breaking up play but isn’t as good on ball as others in midfield. We need a striker and some wingers desperately I think.

How do you know Byrne doesn’t have a clause? Maybe Pittman would be ahead of him but at Livingston for last 3 years it’s always been Byrne and Pittman playing then one other. I wouldn’t say Crawford or barltley are better players than Byrne and Lawson isn’t as Byrne Keags and Pittman played nearly every game up until maybe March.

We only got 50k for Kelly do you think someone is gonna pay 75k for Byrne? What players would you say are ahead of him in terms of ability?

He has another year so it will be up to him if he leaves unless someone pays a fee? Behind who in terms of ability? He’s a very talented player and easily one of the best footballers at club. What do you think will happen with De vita this season?

Would be good to find out. The way he plays for the club I wouldn’t say it’s a player asking for transfer every window.

I would like to know the real story with Byrne I’m not believing he’s just fell out of the team when up until his sending off he started every game snd played nearly every minute. Arguably one of our most valuable players. I really hope he stays.

No Keags or Byrne? Lamie?

There must be some sort of clause in his contract , maybe same as what Kelly had? I don’t understand fans saying he couldn’t get in team near end of season. I think there has been a contract issue for few months and that’s more the reason Byrne had a spell out team. When he was available he played every game for the club in the last 3 seasons. Also one of our most valuable players. I really hope he stays and gets it sorted out.

Feels like our team is getting ripped apart. Going to be a big season next year and we need to sign the right players. I don’t think Kelly will be the last one to go either. I think there’s a chance Byrne and Pittman could go also. I don’t think we can afford to lose them 2 after losing practically our full defence.

At the moment we are desperately needing defenders and strikers. In midfield we have Bartley Byrne Pitts Keags Lawson. That’s 5 centre midfielders. Don’t think we can have 5 cms who will all expect to play. Where do you think Kelly and Byrne will go?

What would be your views on Kenny miller getting job? Never worked at Livi for reasons not everyone knows but all the players seemed to really like him

Not sure on Bartley signing. He’s a big boy but does he close down well like our other midfielders. I’ve seen he hasn’t featured much this season . Is that injury or just not being picked? 3 year deal is strange to

what’s happened with Byrne lately? He’s hardly played and we really miss him in the side when he doesn’t play. It’s a strange situation considering he would have been one of first names on team sheet. hopefully we can get Kelly tied down for another year also. He can make the club some good money

what positions do we think we need? Obviously 2 centre backs to replace Dec and halks. A striker to replace Hardie? We are very strong in middle of the park with Lawson Byrne Pitts and Keags. Although don’t know if all off them will be there.

Reserve games are no where near the same so you can’t judge that at all. Rafa has another year so he will be there next season. So does Lamie

Doesn’t stand out at reserves? Give me a break! The reserves is totally different to playing with a first team. Very harsh
