I thought our performance really encouraging and agree with the upsides and downsides recorded throughout the thread. I took a friend who is entirely neutral but extremely knowledgable in the game. He enjoyed the experience but highlighted our weaknesses as striker, movement in the box, fitness,, and his comment to me at the end was "your coach will need to go."

Why did Veldman not substitute Bannon near the end? The lad was clearly in pain and not mobile. Could have cost us dearly. I have to say that Paton concerns me. Missed at least four sitters and contributed little support when on the ball.

How about Hepburn? He might change unless he has a good disguise.

My understanding is that the deal with the SFA is that we do not use the Lesser pitch in any shape or form. It would be a perfect stadium for the Ladies' team but they get punted to a black hole in Govan to play. You couldn't make it up if you tried.

That solves our problem. We need a strategy. Where can you buy one? Perhaps an opening for a Strategy Director with a seat in the Royal Box?

Can't honestly say I will be crying tears if he goes. I felt his appointment was unrealistic and suspicious from the start. Veldman must go too, though. Dempster would make the complete package. Time would heal the short term mess.
