When you think a top of the table East of Scotland League clash might be a better spectacle and miss a City win...

    Me too!

It's something when you're not interested in going to see your team, as you just assume they'll get beat again!

Here we are though,  and what a throughly miserable season it's been!

Wouldn't wish it on any other teams supporters. (Well, maybe 2, or 3 exceptions!)

As for the actual result, Big well done to the lads that won that game! 👏

They've done very well  this year to represent our wee club. 👍

Not sure if I will leave work early to go to this... just such a faff to get to from Aberdeen....

Having wasted time and money to get there, be late and see 15 seconds of football before the call off I just dunno if i can do it again......

If you're in Aberdeen, then fair play to you for even considering attending this match!

I'm already in Edinburgh but have zero interest in attending any more City games this season!

I'd expect a routine 0-2 defeat for us, so at least you know you'll likely get a win if you do make the journey.

This game is already giving me nightmares other fans have said Edinburgh will get a result against somebody this will be it .

I can hear Bartley already saying it was that players fault or they did not follow the game plan .

I can't believe some of you are actually worried about playing us!!!  😃

We're an extremely poor team currently,  and would struggle in the Lowland league.

We've Zero up front,  so I would be surprised if we scored a goal, never mind getting any sort of result.

*Would be hilarious though if we sneaked a 0-1 win.*

    Will the wounded beast react....

    or not?

You'd be surprised if Montrose don't beat City on Saturday. Well everyone else does!

The Mo have been our bogey team all season, even when we had 3 or 4 better players at the start of the season.

Also you need the 3 points for the play-offs, whereas our year ended before Christmas so probably something like 3 or 4-1  routine away win here.

    1st - Falkirk

    2nd - Hamilton

    3rd - Qots

    4th - Cove

    5th - Montrose

    6th - Alloa

    7th - Stirling

    8th - Kelty

    9th - Annan

    10th - Edinburgh

Not a bad attempt that one!

I think QOTS are the big disappointments this season and the one that threw everyones predictions!

In hindsight, 9/4 odds for Falkirk to win the league was an outstanding bet! 👍

That’s the EoS Cup Final against Stirling Uni been arranged for Wednesday 3rd April 8pm

So are we all buzzing for the cup final on Wednesday evening?

It would be amazing to see this team actually win a game!

I forgot what that feels like! 🏆

Will you guys still be able to operate as a club next season?

Yes, I believe will be OK for next season.

The other City fans on here will know more, but I read we've steadied the ship, so to speak.

Obviously a fresh start in League 2 next season, hopefully we will be more competitive? 🙏

A decent turn out for a struggling team . Around 8% of the total attendance of 651 . It just confirms how tinpot Hamilton really are.

I'm glad you clarified that about Hamilton, because we're definitely Not tinpot!

  9. I think this is the first time City will have come up against any of our former players, since our troubles began!

It will be disappointing to see Callum Crane and Kieran Offord playing against us tomorrow, but it is what it is! 😕

I think the last game at Meadowbank was just after most of our senior team walked away, and these young lads weren't ready then.

We'll see what happens this time, but we're getting there and hopeful we can nick a draw here.

You're wanting a big striker......maybe Bonnyrigg will loan us Kieran McGachie then

Speaking of Bonnyrigg players, well Alieu Faye, anyway

I had heard of him at civil service before and assumed he was a striker, but he's always back defending since he came to City.

What position did Faye play at Civil and Bonnyrigg for anyone that saw him then?
