Fucking hell.
Suppose good thing about Dundee supporters on here is that you only have to put up with their shite every other season.
And hopefully only 3 times in that season.

Think they will be pissed off when they get their taxi past Greenhill Road and realise its still two hours to Dundee .
Our first home game where they might finally see him at Greenhill Rd, if he gets picked. Warming up my vocal chords already.
Boooooooooooooooooooooo
Carson, Carson, what’s the score

No St.Mirren player ever gets booed. That’s a nonsense.
Some players get more grief than others but I don’t think I’ve ever heard our own get booed.
I’ve heard our own players getting abuse and don’t get it, if someone at their work was standing over them constantly giving them stick would it inspire them to improve or make more mistakes?
These experts don’t know what instruction they’ve been given and maybe not comfortable with.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's Main
It was mentioned on Misery hunters that he was asked at the Johnstone Burch prize giving and he said his contract is a done deal.

I guess you could wear any number in pre season so not impossible that Carson could be starting in the number 1 jersey come the first game of the season. But I think that's unlikely.
Has 55 been taken yet? Asking for a friend.

Many of us like to support our manager and our team through good times and bad if we can see (even gradual) improvements. And we have had some horrific experiences with exceedingly poor appointments. Craig, Murray, Stubbs, etc.
Robbo got off to a very shaky start with us and not every signing has worked out. All managers at our level have a shelf life. He is not immune to criticism and I’m sure he’ll be his own worst critic.
I’ll raise you an Alex Rae.

Albiet Hemming barely had to work up a sweat on Tuesday night, and I'm not sure that he had to make more than one stop, he looked fine. His kicking was good, he commanded his box well enough, and he looked comfortable overall.
If Carson doesn't want to play for the club, show him the door.
To be honest, if this is his attitude then I’m not fussed if he goes. As good as he was last season he isn’t in control and why should he grudge the guy who sat in the stands all season AND who he’s trained with, a run out in a meaningless game against a 10 year old club.
The worst outcome is if he digs his heels in and sits on the bench taking a wage for the next year and doing nothing.4 -

No Keanu, cue the rumours?
From the BBC website
Hibernian are interested in St Mirren midfielder Keanu Baccus after the 25-year-old Australian international's move to Bolton Wanderers fell through. (FTBL)
Their obsession continues.

This. It didn’t work out for Brophy at St Mirren, but he was never the target of the boo boys, and the support never once turned on him. If anything, we were willing him to do well. If he plays against us I don’t think for one minute he’ll be particularly singled out for a right good ‘welcome back to the North Bank side of the ground’ type of greeting.
If he came over to take an early throw in, he’d likely get a ripple of applause, then nothing.
We’ve boooed players for a lot less.
Boooooooo

Nah, just saw a headline on the BBC website saying ‘Chinese spy balloons spotted over Asda’…
St Mirren strip looks good, so Wagner special forces no longer plan to steam into Ferguslie Park… that was the other headline. Maybe.

Looking like he'll bang in the goals if his recent record is anything to go by.
The 26-year-old spent last season on loan at Empoli and Sampdoria in Serie A, scoring twice in a combined 34 appearances.

Seen stuff on Twitter suggesting Blackpool are very keen on Baccus. I'm fairly sure he could do better than League One and I'd be amazed if a top half Championship club wasn't sniffing about.
Sadly, Blackpool will be able to pay more than us but I’d hope he can get a bigger and better stage to perform in.

If the statement by Goodwin is true we can have Watt for nothing.
I’m pretty sure his wage is substantially more than we pay so a transfer fee is not the stumbling block.
