  1. I saw the boy for the first time against the Netherlands Under 21s and he was very good. He played against a big lad called Dumfries from Herenveen who plays in the first team regularly. He ripped him apart and was the star man. It will be interesting to see how he gets on but in all honesty I think playing in the Scottish premiership with celtic next year will bring him on even more. I just hope he isn't wasted on the bench week after week as it is easy to happen to flair players like him who can drift in and out of games similar to jonny hayes at celtic this year. He would walk in to any other premier league teams starting 11 so no reason why he cant get a good run of games for celtic next season in the domestic games.
  2. Just shows you what playing in England does to you valuation. Morgan was head an shoulders above Burke last night. His touch and technique is far superior with not just the pace to go with but he travels with ball so much better than burke. Burke is still a good talent but he's very raw in the sense that he chases a lot of lost causes, gives the ball away cheaply but definitely has a good physique about him. First time I've ever saw Morgan play but he will go far in the game no doubt about it.
  3. The centre of the park last night was Mallan & Wilson. I think mccrorie was the back up in that position so I can see why Docherty will be slightly unhappy at not being picked. I'm sure he is in the managers thoughts and if he keeps up the form could get the call for the next game. I don't like this whole jumping nationality because I cant get a call up though. Jai Quitongo is another one, yes he could argue he should be in ahead of ryan hardie but keep playing well you will soon get recognition.
  4. They certainly defended reasonably well against St Mirren and the keeper had a great game but it was far from the best football they've played(they hardly got a touch). You have to judge them against the opposition in the league and by all accounts they haven't been good enough and players are saying it themselves but they still ride high at the top but the gap has definitely closed from last year between them and the majority of LL teams. I'm sure they will still be the favourites but all I can relay is what I've heard that the players aren't impressed with the new manager. Stark has a great name in the Scottish game but theres a reason he was an assistant manager at albion rovers and scrambling around for a job.
  5. Tensions running high in the EK camp after Saturday. Craig McLeish leaving early after being on the bench and has since been released. Apparently a good few other players particularly from last years squad are unhappy with the new management team. Standards have apparently dropped significantly and although they beat hawick 6-0 some have told me it was one of the worst performances they have seen from EK in a long time.
  6. Great business from Partick. Storey will do very well for you and Sammon is a different option. Along with Doolan that is 3 very good striking options who have all scored 15 plus goals in this league in the past.
