Two things can be true:
1. The SPFL didn't give enough notice.
2. Buckie could've and should've still responded to any of the 3 letters the SPFL sent them

If Buckie didn't respond to any follow up letters and also didn't apply for a grace period then are they really that bothered?
Doesn't seem like they tried to get the bronze licence at all.

Surprised there hasn't been a thread yet.
Bit of a dead game but still a small chance of Airdrie finishing 3rd so we'll need to still be at our best.

I hope to f**k there’s a name missing from the GTF list.
You know the fellow - hat with corks hanging from it, fragile wrists resembling a South-Asian crispy fried appetiser, perennially embarrassed look upon his face…?
OH HIM. knew there was someone transfermarkt had forgotten. Yeah he's out of contract next season. says here: https://www.dundeeunitedfc.co.uk/news/7386/MARK-BIRIGHITTI-JOINS-UNITED.html

How much of this squad is signed up for next season?
Loads of players out of contract:
- David Wotherspoon
- Louis Moult (apparently triggered an extension but nothing has been confirmed)
- Craig Sibbald (again triggered an extension but also again, nothing official yet)
- Kevin Holt
- Scott McMann
- Jack Walton (loan ends, also out of contract with Luton Town)
- Archie Meekison
- Ross Graham
- Declan Glass
- Sam McClelland (loan ends, loads of United fans want him in but I doubt St. Johnstone will let him go at an affordable price)
- Chris Mochrie
- Matthew Anim Cudjoe
- Sadat Anaku
- Alex Greive (loan ends, and may I never see him again. Shit Simon Murray)
- Jordan Tillson (loan ends, for some reason isn't listed at all on transfermarkt. not as bad as some United fans think he is but still not that good.)
So for next season we've got:
- Declan Gallagher
- Tony Watt
- Ross Docherty
- Liam Grimshaw
- Glenn Middleton
- Jack Newman
- Kai Fotheringham
If I've missed anyone it's because transfermarkt have missed them. A load of decisions to make for Goodwin in the next few months.

If we go up I think Goodwin will be stay on. He's got another year on his deal for one thing, and I don't think Ogren will want to pay out his contract unless he NEEDS to (of course the issue with that logic is that any potential damage will likely be done by then).
Dundee were smart when appointing Bowyer by putting him on a rolling contract, which meant they could let go of him as they did. Personally, I would sack Goodwin regardless of how this season ends, but like I said I don't think Ogren will want to write that cheque.

No one else started a thread so thought I would.
Gonna be another close game unfortanately but we need to and should win.

Winning one big game does not mean that no.
there's plenty of evidence to show that he can't win big games where there's a lot of pressure on him.
hmmm... Happy to be proven at least a little bit wrong yesterday.

How many games did the fun win in this division last season?
We're a point away from beating their points total. We've already won more games than them.

Only good thing about not going up would not having to pay that fee for Gallagher.

Hilarious to think he got caps for Scotland. Absolute diddy. Still, in 2 weeks, United will somehow start to play like peak Barcelona, apart from Alex Grieve who is complete murder.
We've been awful everytime we played you. You'll play with your food for a bit before winning 1-0 late on.

f**k it. make it 6. Get this fraud sacked.

Shite. just... just shite.

Brighton and Brentford are probably the two most well-run English clubs, at least of the small ones. I wouldn't mind the owners coming in but I do find it odd that they us as the Scottish team they would want to invest in considering our debt and current division. surely a team like... I don't know Kilmarnock? would be a better proposition right now.

Also, and whilst I'm far from sold on Goodwin, does last night put paid to the "Can't win the big games" stuff that gets trotted out in certain quarters?

This is the night that any aspirations of winning a title went doon the lavvy. Just need to secure the second place in the league now.
We'll do something stupid. It'll go down to the wire.

Only thing making me optimistic about this game is a combination of Thistle's poor form and our away record being so, so much better than our home record.

Not here to brag, just to share. Macaroni and Steak & Black Pudding pies were excellent - as was the result. Good luck in the title race!
Already had the misfortune of watching it the first time...

We're linked with Marc Mcnulty, how was he in his last stint with you lot?
Not keen on him myself but our options are limited as we only have 1 more loan available which would be better used elsewhere than another striker.
Marc McNulty is proof that God does not in fact love a trier.

Does Murray still have his pace? Cos that's the only reason you would want him.

I'm probably exaggerating but wasn't about 50% of Shankland's goals from the penalty spot?
Of the 40 goals he scored for United only 3 were penalties. (https://www.arabarchive.co.uk/player.php?id=1958)
Nicky Clark was always the best penalty taker during Shankland's time at United.

Best guess, and We'll see what Buckie say in response, is that EK and Bonnyrigg have actually been communicating with the SPFL. While Buckie simply have not.
