Those of you who are good at the points totalling up stuff... what do we see as favourable results for us today?
Arbroath and The pars a draw or an Arbroath win
Queens and Morton a draw would do just fine.

Did I see Union Jack flags in the crowd? If so what was that about?
The Airdrie fans can answer that one, nowt to do with us

Brilliant second half performance, 4 points from the next 3 games should see us hovering around that 5th 6th place as I've said previously not bothered about 4th others can have that and Brown can start planing for the winning promotion Infront of the new North Stand… as for his plans first man in the Door should be Dowds on a permanent deal, right team around him he could easily get 20+ goals next season.

Scott Brown has made a few bold as f**k team selections now and has a good success rate with them. We should really learn to stop questioning him.
It's like we actually scout the opposition and have a game plan, look he's not going to get it right every time but 5 wins out of 8 league games is not a bad start.

Not sure how up to date market place is but according to that we only have Stanger, Dempsey, Syla, Murphy, McGeady, Guthrie, Tomlinson and Bryden signed up for next year, I think Mutch may be as well but it does not say, going to be a hell of a rebuild next season

Chalmers and Murphy not 100%, went for work rate against a team of of hammer throwers puts team selection in more context now.

Maybe some players are carrying knocks ( does not mean to say they are injured to the extent of participating for a small part of game )
Could be a lot of folk reading far to much in to the team selection (me included), I'd rather we managed Murphy instead of him breaking down and missing last 5 games, McGinty and Dempsey could have a knock for all we know the only only one I think he's bombed out the team due to not fitting in or performance is Chalmers

Wonder if either Chalmers has made it clear he's not going to sign with us next season or Brown has no intention of making a offer to him and he's decided he'd rather give game time to players who are going to be part of his plans for next year, cutting your nose off go to spite your face maybe but understandable

Either Browns a genius or we got lucky feared the worst when I saw the line up, I think we can say the Inverness curse is now truly in the past.

Glad to see we have cover in at LB, I'm assuming he's been in training for a few weeks and will up to spead with the squad maybe just not match fit.

a question open to all fans on here.............how do you think Scott Brown is doing so far? Do we feel more or less positive about the team.?
He's won every game we realistically expected to win and only lost by a goal to the top two teams in the league and we probably should have taken 2 if not 4 points from those performances, you can tell his standards are high and he expects the club and the players to try and meet those standards, excited to see where it goes from here.

Apparently Adeloye was racialy abused by Thistle fans at the game on Tuesday night.

let Ecrepont go
Should never have been let go without a replacement, maybe I'm wrong but I think he could have kicked on under Brown and Whittaker in particular.

What's the story with Albinson? Has he signed a PCA with Hearts? I know he hasn't been up to the standard of last season but Brown bringing in a young keeper with very little first team experience and keeping him on the bench suggests there is more to this that two mistakes against Dundee United

And we finished 4th in the season that COVID hit and shut down the league, could easily have been 3.

Scott Brown doesn't really strike me as the type to unceremoniously f**k off for three weeks in Torremolinos with his phone left at home as soon as the table is called, which would position him distinctly differently from the last four managers.
Players should be getting looked at and brought into PCAs as the season draws to a close. The notion that playoffs somehow completely prevent a club with 100+ staff from carrying out any of its usual post-season activities is nonsensical.
True but your not going to target the same players for a champions promotion push than a premiership relegation dog fight that potential 4 weeks of uncertainty could mean losing players to the teams your going to be competing against.

Mid table obscurity will do me fine, Brown will overhaul this squad in the summer so playing in some pointless playoffs set up for the premiership team to have the best possible chance of survival can do one this season if it gives him more time to prepare.

The Forrest thing is very very unlikely but not out of realms of possibility, he's good pals with Brown, Brown talked about still being very close with Rodgers on that Celtic podcast last week, his brother played for us he has family connections to the area and it's only an hour from where he presumably stays, what goes against us is obviously money we can't afford to put much to his wages and in the back of his mind he will be thinking I can break back in to Celtic team have a good end to the season and he's wild card to go to euros in the summer.

The worry for me is that we’re so dependent on Dowds and Murphy. Lose one or both of them and I think we’ll go down.
I think you could add McGinty to that, granted we have cover at center half but I don't think we have any one else that's a leader like him.

I'd take the playoffs (promotion of course) but I think I'd rather be safe and give Brown and co a few extra weeks prep for next season , I really think next season we can make a big push with the right recruitment.
