The Craig Moore situation is difficult in league one before he got injured he was ripping it up we then brought in Shankland as cover and the rest is history, how many games has he started since we signed Shankland? And his goal return was still almost a goal a game. He can on against Morton in the 5-1 game and turned the game scored a very important goal v Falkirk but had some horrendous misses Talbot in particular comes to mind maybe a 6 month deal like doc had last season may suit both parties.

As a plan B or as back up I would be scared going into the new season with Moff, Moore and Doolan, for me McCowan is more of a number 10 attacking mid not an out and out striker can't see him scoring 20 goals a season hope I'm wrong about that though

Problem with Shankland comming in and hitting the ground running when he did is some of our supporters are going to get on the back of his replacement if he doesn't scorer in each of his first 5 games we need to realise we were spoiled with Shankland and need to give new players time to bed in

El Bakatouoi has been released by Dundee TBH he looked out of his depth this season and anytime I have seen him outwith league 1 (apart from a worldie against Celtic) wonder if it would be worth a punt though.

According to Wikipedia Celtic have, Bain, Gordon, De Vries (sure he's retiring though) Hazzard (who was on loan to Partick) Doohan and Ryan Mullen, personally I would think the situation were Doohan played each week and trains most of the time with Celtic would make sense, a lot though will depend on who is their manager next season, don't think Ayr were Lennon's most favourite team when he was Hibs manager

The situation with Ferguson is similar to the situation with McGuffie I would defo give them both a chance but would love a another decent RB and winger so we aren't cought short if they don't kick on like we and McCall hope.

I thought he improved a lot after being away with Scotland from the performance he put in against Talbot and the game against ICT when we were 3 nil down at half time he was night and day after that.

Pre February Harvie I'd maybe agree but the last two months Harvie was arguably our best or at least most improved player and currently is the Scotland u21 LB I wouldn't swap him for any one else at this level just now but yes we defo need a RB
