  1. It does come across that with the success the academy has has off the field with the UEFA award they are desperate to see that reflected on the field as well either it's Bryden, Mackenzie beeing shoehorned in to any position or the desperation to make young Tomlinson a full back, let it happen naturally and if we find a gem great, at the moment the two best prospects look like Ollie Ecrepont or Dylan Watret both who look like they have had productive loans at East Stirlingshire.

    Bryden?

I know there aren’t too many other options but still. I’m not sure there has been a single game in the league he has offered anything outwith pressing and winning a couple of headers.

Anyway - Stanger probably Murphy and Chalmers v Raith.

To be completely honest I'm problem voting with the he's one of own blinkers on.

  3. It's all good having a lovely new stand but we need a couple of things to fill it, one of them is a player who excites you and gets you off your newly padded seats, Chalmers can do that and yes if he was doing it regularly he would not be on loan at us he'd be playing for Dundee United or back down south but Browns not daft he knows he good for at least 8 to 10 goals a season and probably the same on assists I definitely think he will be trying to make the move to get him on board for next year.

  4. Would I rather have Chalmers lining up for us or clubs round about us 100% I would, yeah he's inconsistent at times but in 34 games he has 11 goals and 8 assists over his two loan spells for us that's more than a goal contribution every 2nd game, he has some moments of genius the pass to rose to put him through against thistle early on this season sticks out, I think we would be crazy not to sign him if he wants to sign on permanently

Dempsey played really well today, McCallister was absolutely fine verging on good today which is a big leap forward for him.

I'm not saying MaCallister has turned into a first choice championship level full back but Brown has developed him more in 4 months that Hopkin, Duffy and Bullen did in almost 3 years

  6. If we stay up, I think we can officially say the yo yo years are behind us I think only Morton and Cally Thistle will have been in the championship continuously since we came back up, part of the long term goal under both Cameron and Smith was to become an established Championship team and that's certainly been achieved.

  7. Looking at the way Brown set up at Fleetwood I would be surprised not to see us line up with 3 at the back and 2 wingbacks next season I don't think he had the time to change the full playing style to that this season Paddy potentially could get away as a LWB but Nick he's not got the speed to get up and down the pitch, if we are playing that we need two good full backs on both sides.

Not sure that dominance has been used for a while now as there has been a race of sorts until the last few games

Aye, some of the so called bigger teams have struggled but ultimately got there, the different is that I doubt Livi will be able to afford a Louis Moult in the summer or be able to bring in a player like Lafferty in the January window like Killie did, money wise it's going to be a lot more level playing field with a lot of teams looking at the same player pool.

  9. If we stay up (more in expectation than hope now) the choice/risk of of not spending anything in the January window will have paid off, hopefully the money from the Scottish cup is sitting chilling in the bank for Brown to spend and bring in players capable of making a right go next season in a league that club have a realistic chance of winning especially if it's only Livi that come down.
