  1. Are assistant referee's mandatory at every EoS/SSFL/LL/HL game or do they only become mandatory as of league 2? Would another benefit of joining the pyramid be every game you get ARs?
  2. Greenock & Port Glasgow voting yes is interesting - could attract a lot of local interest and make us pull our finger out.
  3. Everyone talking about financial gain of playing in the Scottish Cup when moving to senior - surely the more junior clubs who move the less money the clubs will receive as the wealth will need to be spread more otherwise the SFA would go bust? Rounds 1 & 2 could see a financial hit if more and more clubs try to get on.
  4. I'm pretty sure it started later than usual today and instead of finishing early they moved onto England which was still ongoing (the joys of 3pm ko in Scotland). Usually Saturday afternoon showing finished relatively close to when the games are finishing (15-20 mins post FT).
  5. In an ideal world there would be a pathway from the premiership all the way down to your local amateur outfit under one SFA although I suppose the difficulty would be the different types of contracts etc - the majority of the better run amateur leagues would be very simple to join below a junior league with the most complex part being the number of teams that get promoted/relegated through playoffs. Senior (all the leagues including a west of scotland) Junior (the same leagues as things stand however premier leagues feed into north/east/south/west senior leagues) Amateur (more complex although the same leagues feeding their respective junior lowest tier leagues - potentially having a new 'elite' leagues that would be promoted into the juniors which would still allow the number of leagues in amateur/the new ones being created and teams can opt out of promotion into this?)
  6. For me, the juniors should be added into the pyramid system with a similar structure to England. Not saying it will ever happen although their should be a clear route to the premiership regardless of club status.
  7. How does it match with the PC version?
  8. Interesting that they didn’t wear shin guards yet I thought they were standard by the 60s (or at least recommended) - love the picture!
  9. Watching sport scene today and it’s made me wonder if we ever do get promoted to the premiership again, would we have a gantry in the cowshed every week or would we need to install a permanent one that wouldn’t obstruct the view? I assume there’s potential to use our own equipment although I’m not sure the bbc would be happy with the potatoe we use to make highlights
  10. I don't think the challenge at 59 seconds is anything like the red card challenge - the player is clearly airborne when flying into the diving slide tackle with his studs up - the challenge at 59 seconds looks like an mistimed attempt to intercept the ball.
  11. Sounds like referee had a stinker although it'd be good to see the other challenges that didn't receive a red card?
  12. Is this maybe to do with the fact majority of weeks they don't broadcast in HD and instead broadcast on BBC2? I'm not sure what the price difference is between HD and SD.
  13. Which browser are you using? Unfortuantly silverlight does not work in any browsers now besides Internet Explorer (not edge) and Firefox Extended Support Release (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/organizations/) all other browsers including Edge (from Microsoft itself) have removed the ability to use silverlight. Try Internet Explorer and let me know if you get the same error.
  14. It’s the same idea now as us having a “premiership” and a “championship” it works in England because the premier league is split away from the football league (leagues 2 - championship) so technically even our top structure is incorrect. However, if the SFA want to keep this fact irrelevant then we could always also copy the conference setup as it seems to work better than our Junior setup. Also, anyone a fan of a “junior day” while the seniors are on winter break the same way as England do? Sky sports at junior stadia broadcasting live
  15. Value for Money: Asus VG248QE or BenQ XL2411Z. If you can afford it however and are interested in a budget curved gaming monitor, the Lenovo Y27G Curved Monitor will suit you perfectly.
  16. Have you installed the latest firmware update? This sounds like something that should/could be resolved with an update rather than a replacement. If updating to the latest version doesn't resolve then issue then I'd contact samsung support (http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/) who will be able to diagnose for you.
  17. Followed the rules on the front page and my league 2 teams don’t update. Tried 3 times any advice?
  18. Is there a guide/checklist anywhere for being these phones and setting them up for optional performance on the uk network? I’m assuming a lot tweaking goes into these phones post-purchase to actually make them everyday usable?
  19. Been drinking Ale the last few months instead of Lager and I've never looked back.
  20. Intentionally putting everyone besides people they've either 1) not spoken to or 2) don't get on at the Christmas dinner knowing that everyone is against the idea.
  21. Is there a guide anywhere on how I can do my own YAC? This seems really interesting and I'd love to get involved with my own save.
  22. Never been a fan of pork pies however scotch eggs should be the standard of train food.
  23. I suggest your first upgrade should be to 16GB RAM.
