  1. Three changes for Spain, the entire left hand side.
  2. Yep it’s Israel unless we are counting the nations league (3-0 defeat in Dublin). Every single campaign from euro 2004 until recently we dropped points to one or more minnows Euro 2004 - Drew in Faroe Islands and lost in Lithuania WC 2006 - Lost at home to Belarus Euro 2008 - Lost in Georgia WC 2010 - Lost in Macedonia Euro 2012 - Drew in Lithuania WC 2014 - Drew at home to Macedonia Euro 2016 - Lost in Georgia WC 2018 - Home draw with Lithuania Euro 2020 - Beaten in Kazakhstan I don’t count Israel as a minnow so a draw away to them is perfectly fine. Clarke has never had a result as bad as any of those I’ve outlined there.
  3. If Norway edge out Spain in the groups, they’ll have a home playoff semi final against Estonia and then probably play Wales or Czech Republic in the final. It’s all but certain that Spain will be at the tournament.
  4. There are absolutely no down sides to a draw from a Scotland point of view.
  5. I have no idea how that Fiji penalty at the end required a long TMO review. Very obviously a deliberate knock-on.
  6. Spain will get through the playoffs either way. The whole idea of the nations league playoffs is to give the big countries a second bite at the cherry even if they have a nightmare of the main qualifying.
  7. For wanting a peaceful 2 state solution? Isn’t that what most people want.
  8. Even if Robertson is fit it should be a back four imo in Tierney’s absence. We had a good window in September last year beating Ukraine and Ireland at home and then a draw in an away match against Ukraine (played in Poland) to clinch the group. That was against a similar calibre of team that we’ll be facing in November with Georgia away and Norway home and we played a back four in that window as Robertson was injured. I understand playing the usual formation against Spain but it should be a 4-2-3-1 in both games in November.
  9. No. I would of course prefer a peaceful two state solution.
  10. I would prefer to see civilian casualties minimised but I recognise Israel's right to defend itself and to use force to get the hostages back.
  11. When did I say that I want to see Gaza carpet bombed? All I said is that I've got no problem with the relative of a hostage caring about the safety of Jewish hostages rather than local civilians and that calling this guy a c**t is a poor look.
  12. You're putting words in my mouth. I'd personally prefer civilian casualties to be minimised but I've got no issue with Israelis and Jews feeling differently. Especially those who have fucking relatives being held hostage.
  13. Yes, Palestine and Israel are enemies of one another.
  14. Yeah, this isn't a great look from you. Poor guy has relatives taken hostage. Of course he wants the enemy to be defeated here.
  15. This is correct. If we win the last two games and Spain drop points, then we are pot 1 if any of the following happens: England drop any points at home to Italy or Malta, or in North Macedonia. Hungary drop any points at home to Montenegro or in Lithuania or Bulgaria. Belgium drop any points at home to Sweden or Azerbaijan.
  16. That’s a solid no. We’d likely have to go away to Bosnia for the semi final.
  17. Dykes and Adams are about equal for me. I prefer Adams in games against evenly matched teams as he’s better at dropping back into midfield and giving us an extra man in the midfield battle. The 2-0 win over Denmark being a prime example of this. Dykes probably better against superior teams like the Spain home game. Against weaker sides I also prefer Dykes for his finishing skills. He’s a much more prolific forward. I also think there’s a case for playing them both on occasion. It didn’t work well against Ukraine in the play-off semi final but has worked well on other occasions.
  18. Imagine your team were going 1-0 down in a cup final with a goal that was offside and there isn’t VAR in place to rule it out.
  19. Hungary are a very good side now. Should be talking about them as dark horses in the same sense as Denmark, Switzerland and ourselves.
  20. No you can’t. You’re being offered technology to undo these poor decisions. And you’re turning your nose up at it.
