  1. That wasn’t the point I was making whatsoever, but fair play!
  2. Was a matter of time before he won a major, given his form in recent months. So chuffed for the big guy. You could see how much it meant to him, too.
  3. So Livingston, who are 6 points adrift having played 2 more games than 11th are better than Raith. However, the team in 11th aren’t? Work that one out. St Johnstone looked no better than County yesterday, by the way.
  4. Whilst I agree that I think we’d lose a playoff in our current state, interesting to hear why you think every other side bar ourselves would win it?
  5. Can we bin the shouts that Malky was hard done by to be binned? We’ve been just as bad under Adams, but it can coincide that Mackay wasn’t the right person to take us forward either.
  6. Don’t get me wrong, it also could’ve finished about 3-0 City. However, Nairn missed a glut of good chances in the final 15 minutes. It is beside the overall point I was making though.
  7. It’s hard to say, really. I’ve seen Brechin twice this season; I watched them in a 1-0 win against Nairn in which they were somewhat fortunate to win but I also saw them sweep Lossie aside with ease. Black Rooster FC are of a higher standard than both those teams, though. Put it this way, I think EK are a better team now than Spartans were when they got promoted, and Spartans beat Brechin. Make of that what you will.
  8. Well done to Brechin on winning the league.
  9. There was nothing between the two teams and I didn’t think we deserved to lose the game today, but to be playing a 5 at the back and concede a goal in that fashion is embarrassing. We huffed and puffed but didn’t really create anything of note. After 4 matches, I’m not sold on any of the new signings and Cameron Borthwick-Jackson looks miles off the required standard. Hopefully that’s the last we see of Brophy as well; if he can’t be arsed getting himself fit then I have no issues not seeing him in a County shirt again.
  10. It happened under Kettlewell. Also under Hughes, Mackay and it’s happening now under Adams. It’s hard to put your finger on it, but I think the reason for constant defensive calamities is because there is no footballing identity at the club. We’ve been a shambles defensively ever since we were promoted again, and for years it’s been an absolute tombola for both player and formation selection. How can any defence settle when there is such high turnover year upon year, and so much change week to week.
  11. I’d personally go: Wickens Brown - Ayina - Nightingale - Harmon King - Jenks Sims - Dhanda - Khela Murray I think we’ll have a good bit of the ball today, and I think that midfield gives us the best opportunity of creating chances. I fancy us today, and I’m going to say 2-0 County.
  12. Easy seeing why Kyle Turner has been sent out on loan. Guy is an absolute fairy.
  13. I’d understand this signing if we had a lack of centre midfielders and we signed another right back to play Randall in the middle of the park. However, we’re Ross County. We never have a lack of centre midfielders.
  14. Peter throwing a big 12 on his first visit to sum up his last 18 months.
  15. Delboy said one, maybe two, after the game on Thursday. Would expect it to be some sort of deals til the end of the season given we’ve used our loan quota.
  16. You can carry on the A9 at the Tore Roundabout and get to Dingwall, but you’d have to go over the Cromarty Bridge which takes slightly longer. Second exit for the A835 towards Dingwall at Tore.
  17. Don’t worry pal. My post was just tongue in cheek to some bookie guy on Twitter that got his fellow Saints attacked in Airdrie a few weeks back. I think the majority of St J fans are good guys, though.
  18. If any of my St Johnstone followers fancy a square go, come to The Staggies Bar. Bring your mates; you’ll need them!
  19. I’d agree with all of that bar the bit about Brown. I thought he did well against Livingston’s biggest (?) threat given the difference in stature.
  20. Fucking rotten, again. A defence that clearly looks like it’s been thrown together. A keeper no better than the one on the bench, that’s been our best player all season. Loturi an absolute fairy as per usual. Dhanda, Murray and Brown the only pass marks. *copy and pastes paragraph for after Saturday’s match*
  21. Ange Postecoglou came out and slated our pitch after a fixture last year. I was hoping Adams would use his weekly rant on the Parkhead surface on Saturday, but no luck.
