  1. If he isnt sacked before the St Mirren game then i think only a boycot of that match will make them rethink
  2. I think all the fans are in agreement now. The management however.... Well the next Well Society meeting is going to be spicy if he's still in charge.
  3. Stephen Robinson to come back to Fir Park and get rid of his successor? Just remember that this team is effectively the same as the team from the beginning of the season (Watt outstanding). The tactics are terrible. We have 5 subs but we only use one and its always in the 75+ minute. What chance does Woolery have to make an impact at that time? The 60 minute at the latest is what I would suggest. O'donnells lumps up the pitch after taking 10seconds or so pondering on the meaning of life. Then the ball just goes put for a goalkick. Defending has been dreadful with simple clearances being headers upwards, right back to oppoments or giving them chances. There was so many times where 4 motherwell players were surrounding a St Johnstone player and didn't make a tackle. Also the first goal, Kelly might have done better but how do you let someone just get in front of you like that? I can't even blame mcginley this time since he wasn't even in the starting XI. Honestly It will be a miracle if we win a game before the end of the season. We played 3 games against teams below us in a row. We got 1 point out of the 9 avilable.
  4. You will be guaranteed another 3 points from us though. And you obly need to win 2 more than us in the last 7 games (so 2 other games)
  5. Your wish is Alex's command. The first sub will be made in the 74th minute
  6. Maybe we can get woolery on before the 80b minute this time?
  7. Once again, we show our true potential. Our bottling capability.
  8. Dirty murray there. Should have been sent off twice. The second was a stone waller
  9. The hoodoo curse had been broken! We have scored first! Now let's see if we can win this.
  10. Atleast we will have another 4 warm up games (*cough* League Cup Group stage *cough*) just to make sure.
  11. Hey, is that really any worse that the team line ups we've had over the past few games? Also if woolery is on the pitch then it may make Alexander try and take him off early, monkeys paw style.
  12. A relatively good starting line up. But that doesn't mean much. I would have started woolery instead of efford. And Slattery is still bench bound? Sigh
  13. As I say whenever this happens, I wish him and anyone else affected a speedy recovery. f**k COVID-19 And its affects. Poor Alan Burrows is apparently still feeling bad and he's testing negative now (been about 12 days since his first positive). No one should suffer for it. Onto the game. I think it will be harder now as players will probably have a better mindset (focusing on doing well for the manager rather than trying to push far ahead of dundee). It will also help when we end up putting fox at centre back via the tombola selection.
  14. Well, let's have a go at predicting the Motherwell line up I mean, will I be wrong?
  15. More Motherwell Players than Rangers players in the scotland squad. Who would have guessed that?
  16. After reading the rules (found here: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/media/1849/suspensions-for-players-in-mens-football-annex-c-section-4.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwikpv_wnsj2AhWzQkEAHejBBgoQFnoECAQQBg&usg=AOvVaw2Se5dY5NnHFJgo8nwV3qHq) i believe I have found the answer to Mugabis suspension question. Part C states that suspensions in the Scottish cup can be carried over to the league. Basically if it is one game then that suspension will be the next cup game. If its 2 then one is the cup and one is the next available match. Any more nd there is aa whole list of exceptions and rules regarding them. Mugabis would definitely be a serious foul play Red card and therefore a 2 match ban. He should be missing the St Johnstone game and then the next Scottish cup game. Assuming he leaves in the summer then that ban will most likely transfer over to that countries cup. So unless they upgrade the ban he should be avilable for thrr St Mirren and Livingston games. Assuming I have read this correctly.
  17. I'll have what Sairy's having. Must be some good stuff to be that delusional.
  18. You Can effectively rule out Motherwell and Aberdeen. If either team makes it then every other team must have a nightmare in the last 3 games as well. Onwards to Perth on Saturday. Can't wait to watch another away defeat.
  19. Even my most optimistic opinions are kind of bleak. If(and years a big if) we make it to the top 6, I would count on use getting 6th and therefore end up being the only top 6 side not to qualify for Europe. Or we end up in the bottom 6 and have to face teams like Hibs and Aberdeen again.
  20. Well, that's Donnelly called up for the Nothern Ireland Squad.
  21. I know. Mugabi was one of our best players recently and after signing a new contract he gets dropped for bothe Ross County and Dundee? Then is dropped right back in against hibs out of position and make 1 terrible mistake. Now that's going to be 3 game suspension (I think that's the default for a reckless and dangerous tackle?). Woolery is the same, his work effort over the past few games was massive and if we just play through the midfield then maybe he gets more chances. Lumping the ball up to him with 2-3 defenders surrounding him is annoying once, insanity in the 7th+ time. I was actually dreading O'Donnell when he came on but it just showed how terrible we were when he was an improvement. McGinnely was just ball watching throughout the game, isolated and neither covering an oppoment or forcing the ball into a more defended area. I remember one moment where he just passed the ball to a hibs player who was about to run right pass him. Then someone else pulled the hibs player for a foul and git carded, then immediately starred shouting at McGinnely. The team certainly doesn't appear to be working right now (or throughout this year). So who will be conducting the tombola draw for the St Johnstone match line up?
  22. And the Scottish cup final in 2018 (i think) with "Flower of scotland". Ugh.
  23. While the board will be disappointed with the later half of the season, if we get to the top 6 then I have no doubt Alexander will stay as manager. Even if we finish Botton 6, I can only see us losing basically all of our games to result in him getting the sack. I just hope we can just move on and win games. Kicking out mcginley would also be another start.
  24. So theres a good chance that its going to be an Old firm/Edinburgh Derby in the Semis then? Guess Prmeiier sports are getting their moneys worth from it.
