  1. Never mind it wont be long before you lot are roaring back to the seaside leagur again, you aren't good enough to stay up, even with Alloa and Arbroath in the Championship
  2. You maybe had 8 players out but that only shows there is no difference in quality throughout your squad, you couldnae beat us early on in the year when you didnt have to rely on the young guys, maybe they need to start every week as they must be better than the players you think should be in the team if they are not injured as you got a hiding with them playing the last tome you came to bayview
  3. Why dont you statt with vaughan [emoji23]
  4. I spoke to Kyle Bell at the rovers game, that should have been his comeback game but he has done his knee and he reckons he will be out for another 3 months
  5. Not too bothered anout being out of the competition to be honest but a bit concerned to be losing to stirling albion and Cowdenbeath and struggling against stenhousmuir, its all very well playing well against hearts and dundee utd but we need to show that we can play well against any opposition not just raise pur game for the bigger teams, seems to be a trend that started last season in the irn bru cup playing well against full time teams snd struggling against teams in our own league. Need to see what the form is like after sundays match
  6. Cant make the next 2 matches as im on holiday, looking forward to the highlights, #mon the fife
  7. According to the east fife mail Young says thats him about done apart from a couple of loans, so unless we loan a left back and a centre half I don't think he is looking to sign anyone else
  8. Totally disagree with some of your decisions, linton has done nothing to deserve another contract where Watt in my opinion has at times looked to be our best midfielder, young bell deserves a few games in a row to show what he has as he is signed for next sesson, pat slattery gives 100% every game and although not the most gifted he is missed when out of the team.as for B. Watson a total waste of time, done nothing of note since he came on loan, ive no interest in him coming back. Smith is only capable of half an hour as a sub nowadays but i would probably kerp him, Davidson is getting overrun in midfield trying to do 3 players jobs himself, he will be back to his best with the right support. Sparky, court, Kane, terry, higgins can all go for me Would loke to keep C.Watson depending on how bad his injury is
  9. Totally agree, Agnew has not been the same since his injury and bringing Docherty back into midfield slows everything down, midfield needs a total overhaul for next season and we desperately need a couple of strikers to help Dowds out. Last 3 games i would start Bell and see if he can be a regular next season, at least he has legs and get around midfield which is what we need to keep teams out if we can't score gosls.
  10. Midfield was shocking yesterday, Docherty is too slow,Davidson has been struggling for weeks and Agnew chose to have his worst game of the season, but we dont have any midfield runners going beyond the striker.dreading next Saturday but hopefully because its the rovers everyone will lift their game.
  11. Does anyone know if Bohemians have a cover for their pitch as the forecast for Dublin on Saturday is -1, if they dont the game could be in danger of being postponed.
  12. Totally agree, no lucky wins and some great football being played, the defence looks as solid as i can remember in a long time. The only disappointment yesterday was the size of the crowd, i know the weather was horrible but i hoped that with the team on a great run we would get a boost on the crowd, hopefully the weather will be better next Saturday and we can get a few extra on the gate.
  13. I agree Liam and would go as far as changing the lind up to give the likes of Kyle Bell a start along with other players needing some game time, I don't really care about this competition and would use it to rest some players and get some minutes into others, i don't believe a defeat would affect the teams confidence as they are on a great league winning run
  14. Yesterday's game is the kind of game we would have lost at the start of the season, struggling to score goals and throwing them in at our own end. Its amazing what a bit of confidence can do for a team, always looking a threat going forward and the defence keeping clean sheets, add to that great options on the bench and you can see where that gets you 5 unbeaten, if we can stay clear of injuries it can be a really good season. On a side note Docherty was well out of order yesterday and needs a doing from the manager, hardly kicked a ball all season and thinks he's still on penalties when hes been on the park 5 minutes, knew he would miss it after all the arguing, get it sorted Darren
  15. What a difference a bit of confidence makes to a team and the supporters, driving down to Stranraer today i was fully expecting to take something from the game and hoping we could keep the winning run going, fully deserved the win with 2 good goals and 2 efforts cleared off the line, 2 winnable games to finish the first quarter, onwards and upwards. MTF
  16. Spoke to Kevin Smith as he was leaving bayview after yesterdays game, he has had a calf problem but hopes to be fit for next weeks game at Montrose
  17. After being at pert on saturday i was really looking forward to this game, unfortunately i thought we were poor all over the park with mis controlling the ball the norm and stray passes everywhere, the sad thing was montrose were no great shakes either and if we had played half as good as we did on saturday we should easily have won last night
  18. Only had 4 on the bench , kyle Bell did come on and IMO did better than some we have already signed, would certainly give him a chance this season
  19. According to the daily record we have signed goal keeper Craig Mcdowell
  20. Totally disagree, i thought Finn Graham was the best man on the park when he came on, always found space and was always looking to play forward, it was a mistake not signing him last time and in my opinion it would be a mistake again not trying to get him to sign on, i know its the first game but i was totally underwhelmed by our 2 central midfielders, here's hoping they improve as the season progresses
  21. Nominal fee, he had a year to run on his contract, should have held out for a decent amount especially if hes going to one of our rivals
  22. I know you can still go up through the play offs but when i stated at the start of the season that Smith wouldn't be a great loss to East Fife i hope you can now see it wasn't sour grapes at you knicking him, lack of a plan B and an inability to change things when they are going wrong are a few of his failings, we were well in a play off spot last season when it started to slip and he couldn't stop the rot, can see the same thing happening all over again this season. I did say you would struggle with him as your manager and hey ho i was proved right.
