  1. He was decent, different type of player to the strikers we have, more a poacher with a bit of skill. If we didn’t already have a stacked midfield I’d take Campbell in a heartbeat. If he continues to develop, I’d genuinely tip him for a national callup by the time he’s 21
  2. I was at the far end of the stand so didn’t see the penalty clearly. I thought it was outside the box. Much better second half after the 3rd goal. Kane was unlucky for that goal to be disallowed, and few good chances for him. Hopefully he gets his chance in the upcoming weeks. Big difference in performance level when gold and Wallace came on. DD worked his arse off but just couldn’t get anything to come off today. Really could do with a goal to get his confidence back. Few poor performances today, but hopefully it was a one off. Quality young Aberdeen team. Anderson looks like a good prospect, and the lad Dean Campbell looks a fantastic player. Can’t believe he’s only 17.
  3. Horrible weather, and granted not much more than a training exercise, but this has been drivel so far. Pass marks for Thomson and Bobby. DD looks up for it, but isn’t getting anywhere. Look toothless going forward. Didn’t look a pen, and TOB lost his man for the second similar to the one at Alloa.
  4. Pretty much with McKenna deeper. Maybe more 4-4-1-1
  5. Great craic! Some excellent performances. Though gav and Wallace both looked off the pace, and the penalty miss was a howler. Didn’t look like a pen to be fair. TOB was fantastic, Hammy looked really good, McKenna was solid up top, but when he moved into midfield when Kane came on, he was fantastic. Speaking of Kane, I hope he doesn’t go on loan. He absolutely deserves his chance at the first team by now. Bobby was outstanding today. Rarely seen him look so up for it, and have definitely never seen him track back as much as he did today. The last 15 minutes, we looked like the much better team, and if we can keep up that level of performance, then we’ve got a good season ahead
  6. Couple of Hill o Beath boys making up the numbers tonight
  7. 50+ appearances for the Pars over two years means he’s surely no slouch. Could be a belter of a signing for us
  8. I suppose it really depends WHEN he’s asked for a pay rise. If Peterhead have had an offer turned down, and if he knows he would have been on a better contract there, I think he’s entitled to have a conversation with Elgin management. At this level if there’s potential for a lad to earn a bit more, or further his career, it’s perfectly reasonable for him to state his case
  9. Might be more to do with not wanting to sell to promotion rivals than the fee
