  1. Bobby gave us great moments over the years, single handedly saved our arses numerous times and a joy to watch. As previously mentioned probably the most well known name in the lower leagues due to his longevity and produce in goals/ assists. Such an exciting player to watch, every time he had the ball you knew something would happen. A massive presence lost from the club. an AFC legend.

  2. Good solid performance last night. Fair dos to Campbells January recruitment. Herherington, balde, Dow and banks all slotting into the 11 nicely. Thought hetherington was superb at LB. It’s great  to have a settled starting 11 again.

Please Dick no more erratic transfer windows like last summer. First half of the season was a disaster but the way we are going now no reason we can’t keep picking up points and steer clear of danger.

  3. Thought we were really lacking all over tonight, by 2nd half even looked like hammy Ricky and tam couldn’t be arsed which says a lot. We are lacking in quality but not even near making in effort. Tactically inept and naive to lose 2 goals so close to halt time. sad to say but Campbell has lost it all over the place.

FWIW QP looked a good side and their front 4 caused us no end of problems.

  4. If what happened on Saturday was that terrible something would have been said before Tuesday night.

It does reek of they can’t hack being criticised. the amount of season tickets sold off the back off last season was incredible and this is now our level, none of this punching above our weight pish. We need to get the finger out as if we get relegated it’ll be a struggle to come back.

the frustration with the Campbells decisions, team selection and subbies is justified, baffling tactics and poor standard of recruitments, it’s his mess. He was acting the big time Charlie in the media last year, he needs to take on the criticism now and can’t hack it.

the same core of around 50 guys have been at away games for years and I’ve heard some questionable shouts etc but that’s football, and in years down the line if things arent going as well it’ll be those same 50 guys there, and the “new fans” will be back to doing on a Saturday whatever they were doing before last season. If you are offended by a few shouts away to dobbies for a cuppy on a Saturday afternoon.

  5. The way the second half went yesterday just felt inevitable Cove would eventually score, so when they did it was more of a that was coming feeling, but on reflection what a massive/shite goal to lose. We would have been within 2 points of them going down to a miserable thistle side looking to get something and potentially of been up to 8th by next weekend. We all see what a couple of results can do in the table.

  6. Campbell built a solid squad unit over 3/4 years. we thrived on on squad continuity and couple of quality additions to strengthen each year. He’s absolutely blown it to pieces with a single disastrous transfer window.

we picked up handy players from the lower leagues who know the Scottish game Liam hendo, SS, JT, mckenna the list goes on. These tombola signings are baffling and utter fucking mince. The quality on the park tonight was severely lacking. Hilson barely kicked a ball last season until March and now he’s one of our only exciting / threats. Bobby wrongly didn’t get much game time last season but now he’s been utilised a lot because no one else in the squad has anywhere near his ability to create. Mind about 6/7 years ago we beat Berwick 3-1 midweek at gayf and Bobby single handedly got us back into it and basically saved us from 10th place in league 2 by himself, fast forward to now and same predicament if not for his contribution last 2 games we’d have f**k all goals. We have gone so far backwards it’s almost funny.
