  1. Sounds like you've bought the Adrenalyn cards and no the stickers. Normally I stick a quid on the team that I complete first to win the tournament. This year it looks like I could be backing S Arabia or Iran on current progress. I used last sticker website to do the swaps for the Euros, really efficient system works out the best folk to swap with. For the cost of one stamp you can swap 50 to 60 or so stickers at one time. Can't see a cheaper way of doing it than piggybacking their software. https://www.laststicker.com/
  2. I chose a game earlier this season in my local non-league based purely on team names. Ashington v Washington Thought at the time that must be fixture where with least difference between team names. Definitely not a silly game. My brain likes quirks like that.
  3. To be honest I'm struggling to think of many grounds where the regulars prefer a modern stadium to their older versions. Perhaps Brighton and Huddersfield but they are more recent examples. I thinks stadium design went through a bad patch in the later 90s and early 00s. It's understandable, there was pressure target hooliganism, improve crowd safety and better accessibility.
  4. Cathcart is my option wether going back to Neilston or into town. Particularly handy if your in West Stand
  5. Nothing happening to Hampden in near future. It got approved for ties at the Euro 2020 finals so has to be in current designs until then I guess. I grew up with new Hampden. The only games I went to as a teenager were internationals. I now go to grounds all over the UK. Yeah, The feel of the place is diluted by the track and the depth of the stands. There are certainly loads of places that feel more fierce and electric for fans. But for me that's why hampden has memories, it was family friendly for great days out with dad. It's not a bad atmosphere, it's just a different one. Could be worse. Look at England the other night. Qualify unbeaten with a game to spare and the place has all the energy of a morgue. If Scotland had done that at Hampden not a single soul would be complaining about the experience.
  6. Clare Balding presenting England's 'expected route to the final' before the game tonight. So disrespectful to all opponents in the tournament. C'mon Scotland!
  7. Hearing Veron Anita not getting another contract down here at Newcastle Utd. Word is he may be going to SPFL, potentially Rangers. Handy player. Can play wing back, winger or holding midfield. http://www.themag.co.uk/2017/06/vurnon-anita-moving-north-border-newcastle-united-rangers/
