  1. Went for a pie at 35mins when I got to front of queue female with blonde swept back hair and black t shirt looked over my shoulder and served woman behind who she was on first name terms with. When women asked how much she said don't worry it
  2. Tom lang not in the dunfermline team today hope their not gonna waste him
  3. As far as Barry ferguson goes he should have been sacked after the formatine Scottish Cup when he had the cheek to slag off the Clyde fans who booded him #"chancer 1 other pt why didn't someone have the foresight to offer mcstay & lang terms before contracts ran out 1 deal for L1 and another for L2
  4. Remember the fuss some fans made about Dylan Easton leaving and Danny didn't seem interested in keeping him. Shows how far we've come as he wouldn't get a game for us now. Would like to keep all our regulars and 1 striker and I don't think we would be dissapointed nxt Yr
  5. It's match day need to get some positivity going don't want the team picking up on nerves from the stand am sure goodie will want to run them ragged after his penalty miss they have nobody of his class our home record is good enough to be a 1st division team tonight we are the bully wee
  6. wasn't there today but what a fantastic result don't expect anything from the appeal but a bit ironic the gap is now 4 pts as far as I concerned we lost 7 pts that sat we were 16 unbeaten no Way would Elgin have won that match the form they were in if Clyde had been in right frame of mind mind also don't understand why Berwick not thrown their weight behind our appeal as it looks like it will do for them as well and they are completely innocent. also totally agree with cfcuk we have had plenty big names on the way down over the yrs who were not interested but DGW gives his all every game we're lucky to have him if he was scoring 3 every week he wouldn't be with Clyde but his class tells in making openings for others
  7. does anyone know how many non season ticket holders are in that section are they being scapegoated here? think all supporters of non old firm have more in common than divides us
  8. does budge think no one in that section put money into save hearts when they had the begging bowl out? now she wants a seat on spfl board they are expendable. if budge hadn't bought into hearts no one outside Edinburgh would have heard of her doesn't know much about football if she supports old firm colt teams and has saddled the jambos with her pal levein who is unsackable no matter how bad results get. I don't understand why fans allowed themselves to be persuaded season tickets were the way to go in the old days you could vote with your feet if things were not to liking now all the power is in the hands of the owners for better or worse
  9. didn't Hibs bring in effe ambrose from celtic as an emergency signing out with the transfer window
  10. just an obvious point but if the arrias lounge wasn't in the middle of nowhere where fans mostly drive to it would probably be busier
  11. got to say I was disappointed in the reception given to Frank mcgarvey at half time y day unlike some other big time Charlie's frank bust a gut for Clyde every game. top scorer in our league winning team including 2 at palmerston on the day we sealed the league thought he deserved a more enthusiastic reception
  12. I know it was a great comeback but the bottom line is 4 pts dropped against 2 teams in the bottom 3 at home that's not good enough just despairing same old clyde especially when nxt seasons league 1 could have Partick Falkirk and airdrie in it and an opportunity to open the away stand
  13. worse goalie would have to be Latchford in the firhill yrs
  14. I spent the day at my local juniors Kilwinning v Beith. marko mclaughlin an unused sub and stevie convery ass manager with Beith great to see the two of them part of the best clyde team in my lifetime
  15. I thought yesterday we could have subbed DGW in the last 15 mins at 3_0 up just to protect him from injury if millar had been on the bench he needs game time and experience if he is to improve. Just 19 days now till window shuts to fend of any bids for DGW it's looking vital we do this. don't think the likes of gow is the way to go would much rather a younger loanee who we might have a chance to make permanent if it works out ie like lamont
  16. even if we could keep him to January it would make all the difference with him we have a great squad in all areas but would worry where the goals would come from if he left. its makes you wonder if Danny knew Boyle lamont mcstay and Grant were all going to agree terms whether he would have signed ranken or maybe put the money into an other striker?
  17. what we need is rangers colts to be drawn against Boreham wood Doncaster would be shitting himself any misbehaviour and he would unwittingly have set their quest to join English leagues back. he would probably consider that the end of the world fingers crossed
  18. agree with cfcuk on frendlys especially with World Cup ties on at same time can't see many turn up I always think attending frendlys takes away from the anticipation of the 1st real game
  19. Derek lyle is now 37 too old to waste precious resources on would rather have Brian boylan junior international who plays for Kilwinning he's lighting quick and never gives up on a lost cause he would be able to step up easily
  20. while I welcome the signing of John rankin if mcstay lamont and Boyle return we're going to have a awful lot of central midfielders think we need a wide player most of all
  21. Home to Edinburgh City 1st game away qos Stranraer both midweek then motherwell home to finish
  22. hope your right but it's 3 divisions higher and full time football
  23. been read the nxt St. mirren manager thread on p&b according to that Danny lennon is 10/1 5th fav with ladbrokes would be really disappointed if that happened now he's got us moving in the right direction let's all hope they take Robbie nielson
