    I had the fear that given sk loves to keep his starting XI the same that he hadn't mixed it up / made as much use of subs as he could have over the last few games to stop him fielding a team that looked a bit worn out from the start. Didn't help that Beaton was pretty happy to let just about anything go as long as you stayed on your feet and none of our players looked like they fancied a scrap. Vale is adding to my opinion of " looks like he could be pretty good" after Tuesday , and Buyabu looks like he could be fun to watch.

    Just home. Pretty disappointed that Morton didn't sit off us and leave gaps you could drive a tractor through like Ross County were kind enough to do on Tuesday tbh! In fairness they played a blinder of a cup tie. Stayed solid at the back and got right stuck into the midfield. Don't make any daft mistakes playing like that and you're pretty much on to a winner against us. First visit to Cappielow and have to say what a cracking wee place to watch a game. Thought the Morton fans made it a great atmosphere and absolutely fair f*cks to every one of them ( except for the middle aged guy at the segregation line who seemed to single out my pal's 10 year old boy to get into a tit for tat verbal with, seems like pretty weird behaviour tbh) who's currently several pints deep , enjoy your night. N.b. gonnae turn the wind down and the temperature up next time please ? Ta.

    Thought Vale looked pretty sharp when he came on. Had a few little duff touches that I'm happy to put down to nerves at his first start but took his goal really well. Could potentially be a real find. From what I've seen of the new guys so far nobody looks out of place and on the whole would look to strengthen the squad . Did anyone notice some of the stuff Buyabu was doing with the ball at half time ?! If his ball skills relate to his footballing skill then he looks like one to watch out for as well. Far more optimistic about the rest of the season now !

    Nah I reckon he should be making more of it. Every Bair goal should be celebrated by Ketts running the full length of the touchline giving it the "Higdon gesture" to anyone and everyone that comes into his eyeline.

    Quite annoyed that I've been looking forward to this game for a few weeks , took my final day of holiday this year to make the game, and about 3 hours ago my boy decides to pull a letter out of his schoolbag that's been in there for a week that says he has a qualifier for a school swimming tournament tomorrow at 3pm

    Aye, think it's a bit soon for the full backs to go straight in , would love them to be in tho so we can get Gent playing up the wing where I thought he was excellent against Alloa. Miller being back is genuinely massive , the quality and calmness he brings when he comes on is very noticeable. Keep mcGinn and Sods in the back 3 and we do have a pretty solid team .

    Quick selective look through some of the more likely leagues for us to look at talent from and the cream of the crop would appear to be : Gary Madine Dwight Gayle Cillian Sheridan Joseph Efford! tbh right now I'd take bazooka Joe back but unsure what the returns policy is on SK's ban-cannon.

    He's 100% going to be giving it the big slappy belly during his warm ups , banter with the fans then come on in 85 mins and score with an apologetic celebration, then do absolutely nothing else the rest of the season.

    Fine with Vale. Young guy with a point to prove , no obvious injury red flags , hasn't already been passed about half of our rivals . Let's be honest it's only really going to be someone like that or someone who is known but with major red flags . No real record to prove his credentials but that means no proof he's a haddie , amarite ?!

    I always thought a "don't walk under the wings" warning was so that dozy passengers don't wander into the blast of boiling air coming out the back of the big noisy things that hang off the wings.
