    100%.  Guy behind me at Dens was berating Bair after the penalty miss - "just reminding us how shite he really is" etc and then therefore couldn't bring himself to celebrate his goal 2 mins later as a result.

    Best I've heard recently was at FP a few weeks ago and the guy behind me was relentless in his negativity about Miller . " Folk are deluding themselves if they think we've got a player on our hands here " , " the boy needs to stop believing his own hype and learn how to pass a baw" , " the club are in trouble if we need to get big money for him " . I mean I know that he's nowhere near the finished player and can blow hot and cold but that is some next level negativity there . I bet that guy plays the lottery every week just so he can complain about never winning it !

  2. Just got round to watching the highlights , I'll be honest that red card incident wasn't even close to what I was imagining it would be after reading all the comments about it.  I was thinking it was an actual lunging tackle on the Aberdeen player and the debate was that although he got a touch on the ball first it was a dangerous follow through. Surely if thats a red that then sets a precedent for players just to run straight at the clearing player and letting his follow through catch you.

    Good luck drove one for one day as a hire car, vile thing to drive. Basically an astra on stilts you would be much better off with an astra estate.

    Crossland should also get them done under trade description act, thing was unstable on road nevermind off-road.

    I drive a lot of hire cars at work and hands down the absolute worst of the lot has been the Crossland * . For some reason as well last year enterprise seemed to only ever send us Crosslands ,heart would sink every time you saw them lined up in the car park, must have had a massive surplus of them . Horrible interior , car feels like it's going to topple over at every turn , terrible UI , absolutely uninspiring from every angle. The Grandland x  is almost bearable to drive for a while , definitely not been Vauxhall's best range which is a shame as some of their Astra's have been cracking fun to drive and the Insignia is a bit of hidden gem as well.

    * Not the actual worst , that has to go to the Duster which I realise bookends this thread pretty well . Only ever had to drive one from Perth to Motherwell and it was easily the worst car journey I've ever had . Nasty interior , gearstick felt like it wasn't even attached to anything and the horrible seat/steering wheel/ handbrake layout nearly undone 2 years of chiropractic work in the space of an hour.

    My pet theory is that because they throw the SC at the first hint of rain these days drivers don't know how to drive in the wet any more

    Aye that's true , plus the drivers know that as soon as any of them start whining about safety then they have to bring the car out. I'd imagine there's very few drivers out there now that welcome rain as giving them an edge.

    I noticed crofty was starting to give it the whole " oh this is really dangerous we might have to stop this " chat untill Nico started laughing at all the cars skiting off everywhere and turned around to " wow this is really exciting now ". Honestly man for such an exciting sport they've picked one of the dullest wet wipes of a guy to commentate on it.

    This reminds me. Rangers often release statements ahead of European games begging their fans not to be disgusting bigots, because the club might get punished. And there’s lots of back patting on social media because of it.

    Do they pass any comment when it happens every week domestically? Do they f**k. Because they don’t give a f**k about the singing, only the possibility that there might be repercussions from it.

    I've also yet to see a statement from them when it comes to 'marching season' asking people to please refrain from wearing their merchandise while following/promoting said rallies and dragging their good name through the dirt.

    Going back to the Goal of the Season;

    Slattery v Hearts all day long.  A genuinely wonderful team goal.  Spittal v Celtic in 2nd place.

    I'm never that impressed about players pinging it in from 25/30 yards.  It's more luck than anything else the ball ending up where it does.  A great wee bounce about in the stands when it happens, tbf.

    Aye, I'm with Slats v hearts all the way.  It's a bit like a hole in one in golf Vs a 147 in snooker. Hole in one looks great and at first glance seems more impressive, but the 147 is far more impressive from a skill perspective.
