I was impressed with Inverness on Friday night , high energy , good passing , high intensity. I t will be a hard game next week and its one, with another performance like yesterday we could easily lose. We aren't out of the woods yet.

That was dire, what an embarassment. We didnt even dominate a youth team, they had 54% possession according to BBC. They looked the team more likely to score the final half hour and played some neat football, we on the other hand............. -

A sign of utter desperation and complete lack of width in the squad. When you looked at the bench today it was bereft. -

No signings in next few hours means a real struggle to maintain a top 3 position by start of next window. Results so far this season have masked many poor performances. -

Pars vs Rovers - Wed 6th April

My frustration isnt just tonight’s performance from Polworth ( and Lawless to some extent) but both have been very poor for the last 4 plus games. They wouldnt figure in my starting 11. -

Can someone explain the point of Polworth to me. Rarely wins possession rarely makes a pass just an empty shirt shadowing opponents most of the time. -

WE got what we deserved , zero creativity one shot on target perhaps the whole game? Passing was woeful.

Maybe there will be a double announcement : goodbye Peter Grant , lets welcome XXX as the new DAFC manager. Just a thought. -

There probably is money, I am guessing the Rangers game will contribute at least £200k to the coffers which wouldn't havde been forecast. Against that you have the expense of the floodlight replacement (£100k was mentioned?) so there is some cash around I suspect. -

Plaudits to the commentary team on PTTV , I thought they were excellent, clear concise , unbiased and knew a fair bit about the Pars. -

Yes, I was aware that they had 2 (?) members on the football board. -

Our German investors have the option to increase their shareholding to that of controlling interest over the next 12 months. They will therefore have a major influence on any decision. Our Board wont wish to do anything that jeopardises that investment. Our form over the last 5-6 months has been more akin to relegation threatened rather than winning promotion. Over that period we have delivered some of the most wretched performances I can remember in 5 decades of watching the Pars. That wont have gone un-noticed. -

Suggestion that Murray was injured. But I agree the Wighton and Mayo substitutions were bizarre. -
Raith v Dunfermline. Dunfermline v Raith
Ayrpar replied to baillieinleeds's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
I thought before the game that we needed big performances from Thomas, Wighton and Henderson and sadly only Henderson delivered. We failed to exert any continuous pressure on Raith's goal and we failed to get in behind their defence. At no time did we overload their defence or get them turning. They looked pretty composed throughout. Raith seemed happy to let us play in front of their defence. Crawford adopted a three quarters press which failed to exert any pressure on the back four allowing them to play the ball around the back at will. Raith let the ball do the work whereas our players were having to work very hard. I thought our chances were more or less "half chances " other than O'Hara's at the end and maybe McManus in the first half. On the subject of McManus, Crawford stop wasting him in this role, his ability to contribute effectively to the game is severely curtailed despite his willingness. I thought Henderson, O'Hara and Whitaker were our best performers. That was some shot from Whits that hit the crossbar in the first half and he did well to navigate the whole game after picking up a Yellow after 25 minutes. I dont think Raith set up to win that game so they will be pleased with the result.
