  1. I turned off all that effin garbage littering the back end of your posts i.e., your signature crap. Decipher this: your post is pish.
  2. Agreed although I think JackHam has a higher upside, but I think it's a good move and probable necessary as Sir Neil obviously doesn't believe our two youngsters are anywhere near primetime yet, and is concerned if we may have to rely on one of them for a long spell. I have tbh also and say that whenever Ferrie played in the 1st team this season (and he did fine for the most part) it kind of looked like a young laddie had turned up stripped and ready to go and just wandered between the sticks. That's how young he looks, but hopefully has a bright future. But Hamilton and Parish will be dueling right from the word go for the top spot, imo.
  3. Thanks for what I assume is a video clip, I'll get out my magnifying glass later to see if anything can be deciphered from it.
  4. Safe to say we didn't pay a fee and sign this fella to a 3yr deal to have him on the bench. I think Parish is going to have quite a fight on his hands to keep the starting spot.
  5. Jeezy peeps Shadow you've gotten me roused and ready for battle with that second line!
  6. With the same level of certainty that I'm_Tadger is a tory b*****d we can say that this new walloper is one in the same with HappyLackey.
  7. Unfortunately the real joke wasn't revealed until Randy stepped on the pitch and attempted to play football.
  8. jagfox I have no bad feelings towards Thistle supporters, in fact I like Partick as an away day, and I admire yourselves and Murn supporters for sticking by your clubs with the two of you in the belly of the old firm beast, but.......... if you fellas don`t seriously up your game against livi you`re going to get papped by that aggressive pressing game they play. Yesterday for large portions of our game you couldnae tell which team had the deck chairs oot and which team was fighting for their lives. On top of that we had what appeared to be a 12 year old boy in goals, a few no hopers like Randy and ElBak, and then a couple more boys that looked slightly older than our keeper playing. I hope Livi don`t somehow manage to sign up a couple of players on `amateur` contracts .. cough Kachloul cough.. before mid week to surprise you. Good luck though.
  9. I hope this post doesn`t bite me in the arse spud, but I think the General has looked great: powerful, no nonsense defender that may find the net a few times as well from his aggressive play when we have corners. TBH my worries for the next campaign all stem at the other end of the park really. If we can unearth a gem of a striker that we obviously don`t have (unless one of the youngsters like Henvey or Scott goes on a tear) then I think we can be playing to nip in for the 6th spot. If NM thinks we`re good with Moussa, and attempts to sign Murray, and AJLS then I`ll have the fear.
  10. TBF Shadow, I think our man Haber pulls out the gloves around the middle of August, and doesn`t put them away until the middle of May. And now for tin hat time: I think Haber is twice the player (when fit) that Moussa is, and although it would seem that McCann loves the moose, and many in our support seem to be warming to him I believe that if we play next season with Sofien starting every game then we`ll be right in the s*it at the end of the season as usual. We might be there regardless, but if NM think`s we`re fine with Moussa up front then I fear for us already!
  11. You're entitled to your opinion mate, but hell no would be my answer to that suggestion. And I feel the same way about Gardyne.
  12. Bain's a punk, and a walloper so he can do one. Having him for the full season wouldn't have moved us up one place this season, and he'd just be getting off his knees right about now after watching Imrie roll the ball into the net for a game tying penalty after his usual half-hearted attempt to save a pk. Basically what I'm getting at here is that Bain can eff off.
  13. Henvey's was a beauty from a great Scotty Allan cross, however that was the tying goal. The magnificent 98th minute winner in the downpour at the SuperScum stadium in Toryville was an AJLS re-direction of a Kamara pass/shot after Glen received another neat pass from Allan. Nonetheless watching the last half hour behind the Accies goal in the pissing rain and turning over their 1-0 lead was certainly an away day to remember!
  14. Correct Dee Man, based on Bain's previous form at attempting to save penalties he would've surely already landed himself securely onto two knees in a half-hearted dive attempt well before that rat Imrie even kicked the ball leaving him with miles of open net to roll the ball into. Say what you will about Parish and the various pluses and minuses of his overall game he didn't dive too early, and he also kept his eyes focused on the actual ball to then be able to adjust if need be and that allowed him to adjust and most important cover the ball after he got a leg on it. Plenty of garbage/mishit penalties still find the back of the net because the keeper has landed himself in one corner of the goal before the penalty taker has even touched connected with the ball. Well done to Elliot!
  15. St Johnstone play Motherwell tomorrow, and and depending on the result there both teams may have absolutely nothing to play for going forward as their positioning may all but be settled especially if Motherwell win. My concern is that both of those teams lay down for their last two games each especially with 'Well preparing for the Cup Final. I wouldn't be so quick to write off County and Thistle's chances of gaining more points outside of the games that they actually play us directly. 'Well play Thistle and Accies Saints play Accies and County Bottom line is that I hope McCann has it well drilled into these lads that we needn't be hoping for results to go our way in any other game other than the one we're playing in. We need to win tomorrow, playing for a draw against these match fixing Tory loving Superseal dwelling clowns can get directly into the sea! On another note anyone know what's up with noted Accies slayer Matty Henvey after that brutal assault by that thug masquerading as a footballer MacKinnon. I'd actually prefer Henvey or young Cedwyn over the ginger assassin at this point.
  16. As I've said before McCann's love affair with the moose seems like it will never end, and continues to cost us. It must be a real comfort to our opponents when we start with 10 football players and some guy who looks likes he just wandered on the pitch every week. He then proceeds to stumble and bumble his way around the pitch, I'm baffled he still has defenders - unfortunately for me it would seem that our manager is his biggest fan. Having AJLS on the bench while watching Moussa play football like a baby elephant for 90, 70 or 60 minutes before he gets a chance is criminal. I'm so well past the point of hoping he'll ever become a Premier league player that he'd be my last choice forward, and he'd be sitting with Wolters at this point. You could make a case that he gets a space on the bench right now because Haber is out for the season and Henvey is still dinged, but I'd actually have the new boy Cedwyn Scott on the bench. I've had it with this moose. Oh and one more thing, please don't let Deacon take corner kicks please and thank you. Dundee 12 - Well 0 today in corners, may as well have been 100-0 if you can't get the ball past the first or second man. If Basque Jon is dropped (for whatever inane reason) then let Gowser take them as he isn't bad at it, but Deacon's attempts, dearie me.
  17. I hadn't heard about Watt's previous comments about McInnes, but with him being unable to play anywhere else this season it seems like a bit of a meh. I could be totally wrong about this, and would be happily corrected. Maybe he can sign and play although if he can't it makes you wonder why he didn't get himself sorted before the 31st with instead of having to sit out at this point.
  18. Amazingly I've been taken to task on another forum (a dedicated Dee forum) for suggesting that maybe just maybe keeping our leading goal scorer against premier league oppo AJLS on the bench to start the last two weeks so we could watch Moussa trot about aimlessly may have been a bad idea. And in a totally bewildering post one fellow Dee suggested Moussa as MoM against Thistle at the weekend, you couldnae make it up, I thought it was a satirical post at first, but sadly it wasn't. If AJLS doesn't get on in the Moose's place at the weekend then we meekly lose another game. AJLS and Murray ran riot in that last 20 minutes and could've had about four goals. But but but..... Moussa's just lacking confidence, he's a real physical presence, he tries hard, he doesn't wear ripped jeans, he's a nice guy, he would really like to score but just hasn't had any luck, we just have to give him a chance......... I'm baffled by how he has any defenders. A lot of our fans think, and our manager seem to think that football can't be played without a having a big lump up front so with Haber finished for the season due to his back surgery I fear we'll be seeing lots more of Moussa. Personally I'd tell Moussa to find Wolters and just stand beside him at games then we can place a glass case around them with explicit instructions that the glass is not to be broken in case of only the direst emergencies. Unfortunately with Henvey hurt, Haber done, the enigmatic ElBak, and the new boy Scott in the dev squad (whom I don't think they'll want to play in case they have too) as our only options I fear (because of our managers blind spot for the moose) much more Moussa in my viewing future. Again though if he is on the field I hope one of these days it all goes right for him because that means good things for the Dee, but man it doesn't look promising.
  19. Pretty sure he is just running around with them to keep himself football busy as he can't sign anywhere for the rest of the season. At least that is my understanding.
  20. AJLS has put points on the board for us this season, and is an actual footballer, and he was all over the place for that last 20 minutes yesterday in a good way. I agree with you about Moussa, Holt, O'Dea (Waddell should be on the bench ahead of him), and ElBak, but I think O'Hara just needs to be worked with, and is too young and filled with potential to give up on. Just my opinion.
  21. The moose is a disaster, and shouldn't see the field again unless the only option is that I have to play (and I may be a better option tbh). Obviously AJLS and Murray should be the combo, but for some reason our manager and some segments of our support think you need to play with a big lump up front these days, I'm no sure why. I realise that Haber and Henvey are hurt, but if fit I'd allow Marcus to come straight from a fashion shoot showing up at the stadium 5 minutes before kickoff and I'd let him play wearing a shell suit and trainers before I'd play Moussa. Henvey is self explanatory, laddie seems to know where the net is, and I'm being entirely serious when I say this - I'd play the new boy Cedwyn Scott from the Dev team that's been banging them in since his arrival on deadline day. Having AJLS on the bench to start the last two games is criminal, and I say this as a big supporter of NM, but he has a huge blind spot where Moussa is concerned. Bottom line is as nice a guy he seems to be and as much as tries hard he is bad at football, and that is a problem for me, a big problem. Watching him stumble around aimlessly and rolling the ball at the other teams keeper and heading it nowhere in particular is doing my head in. Somebody make it stop.
  22. Well I was going on the assumption that: a) If NM is determined to keep playing with a large target man type of guy that it should be Haber over Moussa not that we have to play either one of them. Simply that if that type of player he is determined to play then it has to be Haber where there is at least the potential of goal scoring both with head and feet and the occasional assist. Moussa is capable of none of this. b) I wasn't saying that we'll only score 5 more goals this season I was factoring in that O'Hara, McGowan, Waddell/Kusunga/Caulker and AJLS/Murray/Henvey chipping in as well. Obviously only scoring 5 more goals this season would spell automatic relegation. My point was that if we are hoping to get 4 or 5 goals out of Haber and/or Moussa between now and the end of the season then it has to be Haber playing as there is no chance of Moussa doing it! We actually agree in that I don't know why anyone would ever want to see Moussa step on the field for us again, I'm baffled that people on social media are saying stuff like 'he works hard', and 'he's low on confidence and if he gets one he can go on a run', it's utter madness that he hasn't been binned to a seat next to Wolters by now until we can figure out how to get rid of him. And although I support the manager his blindspot where Moussa is concerned is worrying to say the least.
  23. Well if McCann is determined to play a large hold up man up front then it is a discussion we should have because if let's say that Haber and Moussa combined will score even 4 goals for the rest of the season then what you're saying is that Haber will score 4 goals the rest of the season. 4 goals could mean four wins if our defence comes together with Kusunga/Meekings and Caulker assuming Parish regains his form pre the last week. It could mean 3 wins and draw/loss, 1 win and a couple of draws and a loss. It could mean 12 points. How about even 6 points? Or 4 points. How big could scoring an extra 4 goals be? They could be huge, imo. I'd like to try Henvey and Murray, but we don't know what Henvey's status is so what about AJLS and Murray. NM is so desperate to have the moose succeed that I fear he we will be sent out until the bitter end until we're dragged straight out of this league.
