I still think they'll have a 2 or 3 game blip. Carnoustie will win the league imoNo, I did not but in games recently when I thought they might, they haven't.0 -
You didn't think they'd slip up today though surely?Don't think you could have bet on anybody outwith Broughty, Carnoustie or Lochee to win the league at the start of season but it really is beginning to look like East Craigie are going to do a Leicester. I keep waiting for them to trip up but it just isn't happening. Obviously we're out of the running and whilst Lochee and Carnoustie are still very much in it, I think my fiver would be on EC right now.0 -
One day, we'll read you giving the opposition credit. Maybe.I clearly said that regardless of the referee, we have ourselves to blame for not finishing our chances and we should have won that. So I'm not making excuses for dropping points.
That doesn't change that FWE had a horrible attitude and were cheating.0 -
How many excuses can you actually come up with?Well... Should definitely have won that one. We were all over them but just didn't finish our chances. Very disappointing.
Referee didn't help by missing a stonewall penalty to us and late on sending one of our players off after blatant cheating by a FWE player. Their attitude was an absolute disgrace. But even regardless of that, we should have won this.1 -
I think Dundee have high hopes for Grady.
I was under the impression that Dundee released him?0 -
I don't keep a wallchart logging results, scorers, yellow cards and what the players had for their tea that day but he's got 45, 17 more than the next top scorer. Off the top of my head I think he scored against North End and East Craigie and he may have scored the winner against Lochee. What are your thoughts on him as a player? Who would you put above him in the league? No need to get shirty.
I asked a genuine question because I'm curious as to who his goals have been against. It's a good gauge don't you think? You suggested in a previous post that you think someone further up the ladder will be looking at him. I'm assuming you mean a senior side? Do you think he's good enough to go back senior given he didn't make the grade a couple of years back? Again, genuine question.
Don't know the lad, but I've seen him play twice and he hasn't scored in either game. However, 45 goals at this time of the season is undoubtedly, extremely impressive.
In my opinion, the lad from East Craigie would be a better gamble for any senior side, so I hope that's okay.
A nice gammon joint with roasters and winter vegetables. Thanks.

LocheeThat depends how many teams you think are "top sides" in our division. That is up for debate. What is not in doubt is that he is an excellent striker destined for bigger things if he wants it. On your other point I wholeheartedly agree 13-0 is embarrassing but not as embarrassing as the 2-4 result.
Carnoustie
North End
East Craigie

Some amount of goals for the lad but how many of them have been against the top sides? Genuine question.Broughty 13 Kirrie 0. It was only a month ago that Kirrie beat us 4-2 at home in one of the local cups. We're too inconsistent to win the league and are probably too far behind anyway but a few more results like this would be nice. At least this has us looking forward to our next game against Lochee/Carnoustie/ E.Craigie. This was the biggest win of the season for anybody in the Midlands League. Another 7 goals for Josh Skelly taking his league tally to 45.0 -

Given Lochee's horrific injury list, I'm taking BoD to win this one.

Hope Lochee's injuries clear up and they make it through to the next roundSo far only North End through to the fourth round of the Junior Cup. Hopefully we can join them next week, but Banks O' Dee will be very tough, especially looking at their result yesterday.1 -
No, for pathetic, see your club match reports and Facebook comments etc after a defeat this season. That is pathetic sir."Severe lack of humility"... [emoji23][emoji23]
You're pathetic. Meanwhile, I'm proud of how the club is improving due to very hard work, thank you.0 -
It's definitely whinging! Look back at the posts since the results started going wrong. Haven't seen or heard any other clubs moan about their injuries like Lochee Utd do. Severe lack of humility coming from Thompson Park lately. It's not a good look. We're not whinging. We get on with it, but the current amount of injuries is really extreme. Nothing wrong with mentioning it.-2 -
You Lochee guys are hilarious. Every other post whinging about or mentioning injuries. You don't think any other clubs suffer injuries? I would suggest every club does but just get on with it. Definitely a club that's gone down in my estimation this season for more than one reason.

Haha. Kerr Waddell is hopeless. Big Nancy boy. Decent in the air I'll give him that. . . On the deck, better we Sid Waddell.

Good move for Stewart. Not sure what he's done to merit such a move. 1 good season at the minks and a total failure at Birmingham.
Couldn't lace Hayes's boots.
