Why did I think it was 2 free kicks. This is the game where McNeil let the ball bounce over his head and it just went wide or is my memory totally fekd

I could only get a ticket for the main stand that day and it was like watching both goals in slow motion. McNeil shouldn't have been playing and Martin Hardie shouldn't have scored 2 goals from the halfway line.

Can't fault the players for their effort though. Moult should've been off the park but ref bottled it and then got conned for the penalty. I fear that both Murray and Watson could be out of action for the foreseeable future, Watson looked like he was struggling again.

That Bukta strip is my favourite Rovers one. I did this design with the joma logo on the sleeve instead of the Bukta one. There'll be the usual muppets that'll say 'it's too like Dundee etc, we wear the same colours.

Big Kev is absolutely terrified of getting hurt, that's his problem. At 6'6" he should be claiming everything in his 6 yard box. Watch him during the game and every time a cross comes in he has a look and if there's a player anywhere near the ball coming in he takes a step back and stands on his line. He dropped a clanger last night, that ball was his all night long and he stops, takes a step back and doesn't even jump. RT had a go at him last week at half time about him not coming out for cross balls and he was a lot better in the 2nd half. I love Vaughan but last night he kept throwing himself to the ground looking for a foul and apart from one there wasn't a foul to be seen. He's done it a lot this season and needs to cut it out of his game. Yes Arbroaths first goal was well taken but the other 2 were more fortunate than bad team defending. The break of the ball for their 2nd fell for them in a pinball midfield tussle and their 3rd was another game of pinball ending with a sclaffed shot that happened to find one of their players to put it away.

I can't see Rudden dropping out for Hamilton tonight. Rudden appears crap in the air and Morton are guaranteed to play their usual aerial bombardment in the last 10mins if they're behind and we'll probably need a fit Hamilton to combat the height difference. Smith replacing Easton, Connolly replacing Mullin, Turner replacing Vaughan and Murray in for Ashcroft. Keep the others fresh for what is guaranteed to be a very heavy pitch at Gayfield on Friday.

This is a very surreal season.

I said the same about Hamilton and Rudden playing together but that would probably mean dropping Vaughan.

I used to sit on that wall, just to the right of the dugouts. First game was a 1-1 draw against Albion Rovers. Progressed to the 'Coo Shed' before joining the junior supporters club and singing my head off every week, home and away. Getting the bus bricked after a league cup replay at Tannadice. Bricked again at Berwick and Kilbowie then hit with a bottle at Bayview that had been thrown over the wall.

Me too and I played to a decent standard of football. There's no way I'd be in the position Kev was in without knowing who was there and be screaming at whoever that he was free and needed marking. I think Kev was that far over because he knows if it goes to his right side he's not going to get it, I still don't think he's fully fit. He's not at fault though, Todorov shouldn't be getting that much space in the box

Who do you replace Dick with at left back, Murray, McGill, Hannah? Have Corr come in to replace Murray, at least has a bit of pace, where Murray has absolutely zilch and been caught out too many times in the last few games he's played. Liam Dick can't keep the ball on the park when he tries to pass it forward, every time it ends up going out for a throw in. Turner is a number 10 not a centre midfielder. I'd like to see Rudden and Hamilton on the park at the same time. When I've watched Rudden in the past he's exactly the type of player who'd lap up Hamilton's flick ons. I've said it here previously, Easton is a show pony and ever since the Dundee United game wants to beat his man twice before doing anything with the ball. As people have said on here in earlier posts, how the hell can't Murray see the huge gaping hole in the middle of the park? If Stanton isn't playing we need a bit of dig in the middle and should've went with Brown, Byrne and Matthews imo. Leave the flair players on the bench to make an impact later if we're chasing the game.

1. Big Kev is a fkn bomb scare. He's not fit, you can clearly see during the game that he has no problem diving to his left but has problems getting down to his right. He's stopped talking to the defence. Today he could've claimed so many balls in the air but chose to stay on his line (again) as for their 1st goal today, a fit Kev wouldn't have stopped and back peddled. TBH I'd quite happily have McNeil between the sticks at the moment. 2. Why does Easton have to try and beat his man 2 or 3 times, since the Dundee United game he's been absolute mince. 3. I thought Rudden looked good when he came on. 2 great passes, one for Vaughans goal and the other for a dithering Easton. 4. Stop the fkn booing

What we do get with Rudden is some much needed height in both boxes. Sad to see Jaimie go and I think his best position is what we used to call an old fashioned inside left.

Good old Dive and Hope. We need to bring that back at half time.

I mentioned Doidge a couple of weeks ago as he's more of a bench warmer at Hibs and has spent a fair amount of time out on loan.
