  1. With our final home match this Saturday against the Bino's, just a reminder that the Player of the Year / Hall of Fame event is this Sunday night. Let's bin this season in style.
  2. They could come in but the centre didn’t want the drums and the megaphone on a week night.
  3. Could potentially double our cup final win streak
  4. That’s the EoS Cup Final against Stirling Uni been arranged for Wednesday 3rd April 8pm
  5. I don't think you'll find any City fans looking for sympathy or disagree with you on the spending and relegation. We're just glad to still have a team to support after everything that's happened over the past year.
  6. I'm not saying you're not miles ahead, but he put out a weakened side that found themselves 2-0 down at half time and had to use all his subs for the start of the second; which was to quote your own fans both 'naïve and disrespectful'. As I said, it would be stupid to do that again.
  7. On a side note, how's Ryan Shanley been getting on with you lot?
  8. That's just asking for us to be drawn together in the League Cup again.
  9. Most of the team are Under 20's, so this season has been the biggest opportunity of their football careers, they'll definitely be up for it. McGlynn would be stupid not to play a full strength team this close to winning the league and after how close it was in Meadowbank.
  10. Good performance from the team today and unlucky not to take anything from it. Quite a fair bit of pressure applied to Hamilton at the end and only a brave bit of goalkeeping stopped us taking a point.
  11. Second time I think. Shanley was one of the 5 changes Falkirk made at half time when we were beating them 2-0. Agree, It’ll be really weird particularly seeing Craney playing against us for how long he was with the club.
  12. We’ve not had too much to celebrate over the last couple of months but that was a fantastic result for our young team.
  13. He’s at Gartcairn, he hadn’t been great this season and was let go soon after the current manager came in.
  14. No secret about it. I don’t want to see them promoted, but that’s because I really dislike them.
  15. While he is one of our best players, I don’t think the manager’s going to have much patience for him.
  16. Ouzy is still a City player but gone AWOL. If you take a look at his instagram, you can see he’s in Dubai. I think yesterday’s attendance was a combination of a few things, new squad, points deduction, rubbish weather, Hibs at home and the six nations.
  17. We were mentioned on the planning permission proposal and that was it. As far as I’m aware there was never any intention to actually allow us to be based there.
  18. There’s only 4 SPFL standard grounds in Edinburgh: Easter Road, Tynecastle, Ainslie Park and Meadowbank. Obviously other grounds could be brought up to the standard but that would involve a lot of investment that we currently don’t have and I’m sure current ground owners wouldn’t have either. While the viewing experience isn’t great at Meadowbank, it’s much better location wise than Ainslie Park for pubs, amenities and walking distance from the train station. Also worth mentioning that most City fans started supporting the club from that area. While it would probably be cheaper to move back to Pilton, I don’t think you would see many City fans queuing up to go back (Tenkay excepted). I think it would be shooting ourselves in the foot as there wouldn’t exactly be room to grow with another SPFL team based at the same ground that we’d be paying rent to.
  19. He’s a half decent defender when he’s fit and had a few games under his belt but he’s spent most of his time with us injured on and off. Hasn’t played since the league cup pre season, so quite surprised he’s straight into your squad tomorrow. Good luck to him.
  20. Odd couple of weeks. Gutted we didn’t take a point off Alloa last week, then gutted we only took a point off Falkirk the week after. Absolutely outstanding from the team today, couldn’t fault a single one of them. Left the ground gutted but very proud. Hopefully a sign of things to come.
  21. Sore one to take today. It’s the first time in a while I thought we were unlucky not to take something from the game. All the new players in over the past week all impressed, so a bit more hopeful for the rest of the season.
  22. Can play LB/RB or up either wing. Plays with loads of passion, you’ll love him. Absolute legend of a player.
