Any time I've gone into, or even walk past my local Chinese coming home from work, it's a wee boy who can't be any older than 12 or 13 working on the til taking orders. Sometimes a younger girl, his sister presumably, is with him. This is every single day I'm talking here. He is obviously the owner's son, but I really don't like the thought of a wee boy coming home from school then immediately having to go work in his da's shop for 5 or 6 hours everyday.

Should I report this to some sort of child protection services, or am I being a Helen Lovejoy?

    He's probably doing his homewok.

Down at Musselburgh at 9.30 looking for the Black-Necked Grebe that's been hanging around at the river mouth. Never saw it but you could easily nip down. It was seen earlier in the morning but comes and goes.
Only waited half an hour as it was absolutely Baltic. Also male Goldeneye starting to do their daft courtship displays. Got good shots of the Slavonian Grebe at Holyrood a few weeks back but don't know if it's still around.

I'm currently at figgate again, according to someone here the otters are very active today.

Preston Athletic 1 St Andrews United 1 HT.

Surprisingly my first trip here. I only grew up about seven miles away, but clearly never fancied it until today.

Really smart stadium, it’s got everything you need apart from a MUTE button for the drummer.

My favourite moment thus far has been the linesman flagging for a throw in as St Andrews were poised to break upfield. You could have driven a small family car in between the ball and the touchline.

    Good game this.

    Same location?

I was walking the dog in Riverside Park (Glenrothes) a few weeks back and a Kingfisher was literally 5 feet in front of me. Couldn't believe it.

Yep. After 3 1/2 hours of searching for the otters, was just about to leave and it landed about 6ft away.

Examples of Central FM doing it for me include Hanson Mbop, and Albuquerque by Prefab Sprout. I hear them once a week easily. There's no need to hear either of those once a week. It's not quirky or zany like they think it is. It's boring.

The title of the song by prefab sprout is actually "the king of rock and roll".
