Aye, there's no way Mikey would be going full time. I know his dad pretty well, he said with his age and along with running a successful business, it'll never happen.

I'm beginning to think the league title is like the local slapper.... nobody cares about it but it still gets passed around every week.. -
I had a few pints over the weekend, but the best one was a pint of "faith" hazy ipa by northern monk at the gunner tavern in Newcastle. Outstanding stuff.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Plenty plastic paddys and Patricias in newcastle the last couple of days. The sights you see when you don't have a gun.... -
Went to the free trade inn yesterday. I'd gladly spend a day in there drinking some ales whilst admiring the view. Went to the "beer street" micropub today, was OK.

Big country at the boiler shop in newcastle tonight. The singer Simon hough is excellent. Only 2 original members remain, but they put on a very good show. Cost me absolutely nowt as well, as i know bruce Watson's son, so he got us on the Guestlist. The venue is pretty good as well, first time there.

Aye, doing a few tomorrow, including the free trade inn at Ouseburn.

Rovers 🔵 ⚪️ v Pars ⚫️ ⚪️- 9th March
philpy replied to Scary Bear's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
SAMMY STANTON LOVES A GOAL AGAINST THE PARS, A GOAL AGAINST THE PARS, A GOAL AGAINST THE PARS I think the wife is now a bit annoyed that I've been signing that for about the last 20 minutes -
The wife bought tickets for Michael mcintyre in newcastle next Saturday. She likes him, but me, not so much. I might give it ten minutes and f**k off to the pub...

I was in a hotel in Yorkshire last week, I asked where I could find towels. I was given directions to a bird sanctuary. -
I bought 2 Tins of the vault city iron brew sour from the taproom in Portobello yesterday. Genuinely wish I hadn't now, wasn't keen on it at all.

The New Raith Rovers Thread
philpy replied to Hank Scorpio's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
Murray has to hold himself accountable for that utterly baffling team selection last night. His tactics completely failed him. The minute arbroath got it back to 2-1 would have been the Ideal time to bring the subs on. You could see by then arbroath had their tails up. -
Pleased to see Mikey mckenna back in the squad for you lads tonight. I'm a raith man, but I know his family and he's a really sound lad. Would have loved him at raith, but he's happy enough being part time as he's got a good business going.

Apprentices get a bad rep sometimes, some are decent, but you always get the ones that sit in the van on their phone instead of getting out to help. I see it everyday in my line of work. Yeh, its my job to assist customers, but there's something infuriating about someone sitting on their arse looking at a phone when other people are busy.
