Looking at what we’ve got leftover, it’s my opinion that McCann, Donaldson (pre Christmas) McGinn, Henderson, Lawal, Morrison and Ageymang would strengthen every other team in the league. Upgrade in goals, right back, 1 CB, 1 midfield and 1 striker and we win the league. Don’t do that and we won’t. It all comes down to recruitment for me.

The end of the season was a disaster but I do find people demanding an apology a bit cringey. An apology means f**k all. Show your intent by getting signings in and getting c***s like McKay out. That will shift more season tickets than a ‘we’re sorry’ email IMO.

Looking forward, McGlynn will get the chance to rectify this next season. Trying to find some positives, I’ve come up with the following. The expectation will be to win the league and the excuse of improving on last year no longer exists. The squad leftover from this year is better than the squad left over from last year. The cup run should ensure our budget is at least as big as anyone else’s if not the biggest. Our first signing of the summer is a good one (on paper at least). The league looks weak as piss. I know there are also plenty negatives but they’ve been done to death over the last few days. The excuses are gone, it’s win or bust and the summer is going to be vital.

You’re right it’s not all about signings but without an actual goalkeeper, a right back, a centre half, a midfield and a forward then tactics won’t matter a f**k. The signings are the first step.

McGlynn won’t be sacked. His future relies on a good transfer window so let’s see what they come up with. Get it right and we might have a chance, get it wrong and we’re all fucked. Buckle up.

You keep going on about records but they managed different squads in different leagues. They inherited different groups. They play different styles of football. We live in a country where there is a managerial merry-go-round and every Tom, Dick and Harry get at least 5 attempts at management before they run out of luck. Please try and convince me how a point for the team in 2nd who are 5 points clear of 3rd and 7 points clear of 4th isn’t better than a point for the team in 3rd who are only 2 ahead of 4th. Please also try and convince me that finishing 2nd isn’t better than finishing 3rd. The playoff fixture will also be nothing likes todays game which had the feel of a meaningless end of season game for some reason.

A total non event. A point is a better result for us than it is them but I’m sure both teams will be better than that come the play off fixtures.

Yes being able to buy tickets online would be easier but is it really a big deal? You have 4 weeks to pop down to the club to get a ticket, during which time we have 3 home games. Not sure it’s worth getting upset about.

We have genuine competition for the first time in a long time. From what I saw on Saturday, and listening to McGlynn, I don’t think it’ll be long before Kucheriavyi is in the team. The question is who for? I think Henderson has been excellent in midfield but does he go back to centre half? Nisbett dropped? I can’t really see any other option but will be interesting to see what happens.

I’m lost. Why are we harping on about the NB group? That was a proposal that was put to the club and rejected so I’m not sure why it’s relevant now? People seem to be having a pop at Patrons, what have I missed? As far as I’m aware these are a group of people who have put significant money into the club at a time of need for next to f**k all in return. Why do people feel they have the right to know every last detail about who has invested, how much they have invested and how many shares they had/have?
