  1. I don’t think the comment had anything to do with who knows the new board and who knows the old board. It was more to do with the fact our fans will literally argue with each other over the colour of grass (or astroturf pellets).
  2. After a pretty boring first half there was actually a lot to be pleased about today: 3 points, 3 goals and a clean sheet Correct team selection from the manager (forced or not) All our summer signings are an improvement on last season Finn Yeats at RB and in midfield My personal highlight is that Pedro hasn’t been able to complain about Nesbitt’s contract extension for the 105 consecutive day
  3. We were definitely in for Tumilty. Is it a possibility that after failing to get him McGlynn felt Finn Yates is a better option than the others available so spent the budget on Spencer and Lang? It’s also an option that we’ll bring a right back in on loan. It’s also an option that he fucked it and we’ll all believe what we want to believe depending on our opinion of McGlynn.
  4. Fantastic performance and really enjoyable game. McGinn and Spencer absolutely can play in midfield together, Ageymang had them on toast and Tom Lang is excellent. Well done to the players and the fans today
  5. Utter nonsense…again. Tony Begg will still be in post if we have the B team or not. The B team is the platform for guys like Carroll and Honeyman to try and make an impact on the first team. The B team provides a place for players out injured to get back up to speed before returning to the first team. Do you honestly think we’ll get a right back for the cost of a couple of coach hires?
  6. Mackie will definitely not play CB anyway. It’ll be LB or on the bench for him
  7. Or a loan signing that is better than any of the players we could sign permanently?
  8. I asked this question before and was tactically ignored so I’ll try again. Do any of the peddlers of doom actually think we’ll start the league campaign without bringing in a right back?
  9. You are a joke. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion on McGlynn and you may even be proved right at some point but to make comments on a game you haven’t even seen is pathetic. Take a day off will you
  10. I like Leon McCann but I do think McGlynn was waiting on a chance to play Mackie at the start of last season. Fair play to Leon, his performances meant that opportunity never arose. However I would say that Leon’s performances dropped like everyone else at the end of the season and the jersey is probably up for grabs again. Be interesting to see who starts the first league game.
  11. Like Hartley and super scout did? Magnificent idea
  12. I think you are tying yourself in knots now. What are you actually suggesting? We should be signing players we don’t think are upgrades in the hope that might work?
  13. How can we possibly be bringing in a right back? We gave Nesbitt a two year deal months ago and McGlynn doesn’t want a right back
  14. That’s the drum been confirmed. At least it gives some people something else to complain about after a good performance. Website Pies Nesbitt contract extension Oliver contract extension Drum If I’ve missed anything then please add and feel free to use these options when the performance on the pitch leaves you with little to moan about.
  15. I acknowledge our deficiencies but I think we’ll be good enough to win the league. Am I the only one?
  16. I’m not getting the argument that if McGlynn fails it’s the boards fault. The board have improved every aspect of the club over a short space of time. If McGlynn fails then that’s on McGlynn not the board. f**k me if clubs changed owners every time they appointed a manager who didn’t produce they’d be changing ownership every season. Has anyone also considered the fact that McGlynn might not actually fail this season or is that way too positive?
  17. We must’ve played quite well last night given that we’re back talking about the fucking website.
  18. Very comfortable performance tonight and a big improvement on last week. Spencer strolled it, Lang is a huge upgrade and Ola could be like a new signing this year.
  19. Exactly. Just another thing to moan about for the sake of moaning. If there’s no right back in the building in about a months time then we can maybe start pointing fingers at McGlynn/Nesbitt/Oliver
  20. Does anyone actually think we’ll start the season without signing a right back?
  21. Dylan Tait signs for Hamilton. I hoped they would continue to be a basket case but they look to be putting a half decent side together. Hope Rankine finds a way to make a c**t of it like some of our managers have.
  22. I haven’t seen the team but I’m assuming that Franz Watson must’ve been playing. No way we’d keep a clean sheet with the other jobbers we’ve got
