  1. Feel like Dowds is getting unnecessary criticism here. He’s a young guy with decent potential and is very highly rated at his current club who play in the same division as us. Yes we’ve fallen from a great height but it’s not Dowds fault. This is the level we are at and I’d much rather a young up and coming player than the journeymen we’ve endured in recent seasons. He might do well, he might not but surely we give him a chance.
  2. Apologies if I’ve just missed this but when will season tickets be available to buy?
  3. as long as he tries to have more shots with his weak foot then that’ll do me
  4. it’s not him . The young boy Sneddon. Decent potential by all accounts but whether he is able to make the step up remains to be seen.
  5. Totally. We are signing the young left back from Camelon. I assume that would mean an extension for Dixon as he wouldn’t be signed to go straight into the first team. Not sure who else is coming in but will be interesting to see.
  6. The bit that gets me is in the last few years we seem to have endless supplies of money to bring in managers, sign as many players as we want, pay them all off, sack the manager and repeat. Even now as we face a 2nd season in the pits and the prospect of playing in empty stadiums, money seems to be no object. How come in the years we were challenging for promotion all we heard was excuses about budgets? Where was the money then? Its quite clear we were happy to stand still. “If you stand still, you go backwards...”
  7. Take the caps lock off Michael. If you think today is the end of this saga then you’re deluded.
  8. Not sure why that is relevant. Beating us doesn’t win you the league pal. Would Clyde be more or less likely to win a league that didn’t include us, Raith, Thistle, Airdrie...
  9. I don’t get it? Did you mean to post the same picture twice?
  10. Dundee shouting about losing £4million then considering changing their mind?? Wonder what’s changed
  11. So you were glad to be in league two this season with a chance to win it rather than the championship? Very different mate. I’d rather be in the Championship - a higher division. You face the prospect of being in the 3rd league whatever happens. My question is, would you rather be in the 3rd league with a chance of winning it and being promoted? Or be in the 3rd league with no chance of winning it but have increased revenue from having bigger clubs in the league? Not a dig, genuine intrigue as to what people feel is a priority.
  12. Maybe we don’t deserve to be promoted. However as I stated, my preference would be for leagues to be reconstructed. If that happens to be 3 leagues of 14 then 2nd in this shit tip of a league is enough to see us into the second group of 14.
  13. Ok so would you rather be in the third tear and have a chance of winning it or be in the third tear with no chance of winning it but have Falkirk and Thistle bringing big away supports? Genuinely intrigued by this.
  14. Feel free to show your posts about league reconstruction from before your club were relegated. Why?
  15. They deserve to be? They are 7th, 8th and 9th in the worst league I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching.
  16. Yes I’d be in favour of this proposal. League reconstruction has been needed for a long time.
  17. There was no prior warning the league would be stopped with a quarter of the games still to be played either. Of course they are making it up as they go along, there is a deadly virus sweeping the globe that nobody planned for . Are you essentially saying it’s not really about what league you are in but who’s in it with you?
  18. No it doesn’t. It keeps them in the 3rd league where they’d be anyway
  19. Changing league restructure to 14-14-14 just impacts different clubs in terms of promotion or relegation and any vote would end up failing again. Can you explain how this is the case? My take on it is that any team who are currently in danger of being relegated wouldn’t be and anyone on the verge of being promoted would be
  20. We’re not going to get an answer as the 3 teams who haven’t voted appear to have no intention of doing so as clubs were only given 2 days notice when they are entitled to 28. Unless Doncaster is piling pressure onto the Championship club right now they are not going to vote and Doncaster should now be sacked.
  21. I might have picked this up wrong but Am I right in saying the voting is now complete? I think the teams that haven’t voted have no intention of doing so as they didn’t get the mandatory 28 days notice. No doubt they will be under severe pressure right now mind you so things might change.
  22. Rightly or wrongly it’s looking like this season is over, the remaining fixtures will not be played. How they fix the mess that causes is the question. I don’t support the proposal but think the vote will be incredibly close and will probably just get enough support. I still believe relegating teams causes huge issues and can see us being promoted with Raith but time will tell I suppose.
  23. I certainly don’t have any evidence, I’m just joining the chat on here. What I am saying is that if there is a JP led consortium I believe it would be the MC led consortium minus MC. Possibly a very pointless conversation but it least it fills a void.
  24. Not ITK but I would guess so. MC was obviously a terrible choice of front man so swap him for someone with a good reputation and try again
