Whilst I’d much rather have seen a centre forward being announced this morning, if we are going to be making such appointments then that is a very good one. Between Swinney and McGivern it’s been a good week for off field appointments. Just hope we have at least 4 equally good ones on the field lined up…

Could you not argue that it’ll be the loan market that’s gona make or break our season? Rather than signing the “dross” we bring in 4 who we wouldn’t be able to sign permanently. Granted our use of the loan market is terrifying but if you look a previous years it’s been players like McManus, Jamie Gullan, Bruce Anderson etc who have been the standout signings at our level.

Why are folk trying to pretend our boardroom is having any impact on our signings. Players will sign for the club that offers them the most money. You could have Donald Trump in the boardroom and it wouldn’t matter a f**k. We are signing the players we are signing because we are in league 1, not because GD is chairman.

Folk made their mind up that the squad is shite despite us still having about 6 players to bring in. Folk pretending Bob McHugh is decent . The same folk who’d be absolutely raging I f we were going into the season with McHugh upfront. The squad may well end up shite, likewise it may end up decent. Why don’t we at least wait until it’s complete before making a judgement? As it stands, the fact we never have to see Durnan, Leitch, Sammon and Francis play for us again is already an upgrade.

I don’t actually think there’s many who have a “love affair with the board”. I dislike the board as much as the next person and I’m sure we’re all totally fed up with the way our club is being run. I also think the treatment of the CI guys is a disgrace. However I disagree with the statement that fans take umbrage at fans. The fans were massively behind KJ and the Back the Bairns bid. The only time KJ got stick (as far as I am aware) is when he started talking in riddles about MC and the fans (quite rightly) wanted more info. As for the Navy Blue…I’m sorry but I can see exactly why it was rejected. For me they made too many demands and made a huge mistake not getting the fans on board before submitting their bid. The fact that most fans knew nothing about it until it had been rejected was poor. There was a campaign to get Rawlins in and there now seems to a campaign to get him out before he’s even set foot in the country. Is that because peoples noses are out of joint or is there more to it? Until the riddlers on both sides of the table start talking straight then I’m not sure I’ll ever know.

We’ll sign strikers. Whether they are any good remains to be seen but surely we have to at least wait until they are announced before writing them off. Also, no I wasn’t saying the same last season as I knew who are strikers were and I knew Dowds was huff n puff, Sammon was minging, Francis was worse and Miller was done. As things stand none of us actually know who will play up front next season so I’m gona wait until I do before I start making predictions

Take a day off mate. You’re now getting angry at things you’ve made up, inventing colour clashes before you’ve seen the strips, worrying about the shop staff getting their order right and worrying about other people having to spend money. Too much internet is bad for you.

Ok so long story short: The club is still being terribly run and alienating fans. I am no lover of the board and I’m all for fan involvement but (In my opinion) The Navy Blue bid was never going to be accepted as it would’ve resulted in Deans losing his role (demanding an independent chairman), Holt losing his job (before a bit of back tracking) and Rawlins spending more cash for no gain. The Rawlins have gone from messiah to villain before they’ve even set foot in the country . Mrs Rawlins seems to be a bit of a nippy sweetie and has been upsetting people. The Crunchie Initiative are good guys who’ve been treated terribly. f**k me

Nobody on Falkirk TV has asked anyone at the club a difficult question in 3 years, why are they going to start now?

You are not being banded anything, the fans are looking for info on a supposed fan bid but you are not prepared to tell us anything. We know fine well how incompetent the board have been and we don’t need much of a reason to beat them yet all we get is the deflector shield and riddles. Here’s how it looks to me. You’ve put forward a proposal (to Gary Deans and the Rawlins) that would see Deans lose his role as chairman, Rawlins have to invest significantly more money and Gary Holt lose his job. Turkeys and Christmas anyone?? If there is more to it than that then I’m sure we’d all appreciate knowing a bit more about what’s going on at our club.

. Everyone keen to talk in code about how they’ve been hard done by but nobody willing to actually give any details. I am no fan of the board but from what I know of the Patrons bid it seems obvious they would reject it. Not sure why they don’t want to give their side? Not entirely sure why they didn’t get the fans on board with their “fans bid” before actually submitting the bid either . What I do know is the whole “Mrs Rawlins was nasty to me but you’ll find out for yourself one day” is getting a bit tiresome. These people were practically out canvassing to get the Rawlins in now there seems to be a massive change. Surely us less wealthy fans deserve to know why??

Did Gomis not sign for Clyde? Alston is living off his reputation. Connolly is never fit. Durnan is signing for Alloa. Leitch and Mercer are pish. Im not entirely sure what point you are trying to make here but none of the names mentioned above are good enough to take us forward.

Not sure you’ll get many takers for that bet considering he managed about 200mins last season . Injury prone and average. He can go and the club can announce it or not, nobody cares.
