Atttendance and hospitality numbers are up since the Campbells have come in. Nearly 700 yesterday, hospitality has went up to 100 from 20 people using it The commercial team have done wonders up to now and I guess with having the Campbells on board it will be easier to bring more businesses on board?
-
They have backed previous managers I agree. I see the Campbells demanding a bigger budget, more than before, to bring in better players to win the league, these would be players that could be playing at a higher level.
-
Not over reacting on this result, I agree that management will know by now who they are keeping but what worries me is the management team going to get the backing from the board to fund the new squad?
-
We require a clear out but is the board on the Campbell bus?

The Fife v The Rose (13 April)
DDLL replied to Beachcomber's topic in Scottish League 2 General Chatter
Worst team performance of the Campbell’s reign so far, too many players had an off day, it could have been more to Bonnyrigg but poor finishing and great saves by Fleming kept the score down -
There had to be a change and DC will bring stability and ensure we don’t fall into the LL The chairman’s ambitions is to have a starting eleven from the Levenmouth area, I am guessing that is now on the back burner. We have good youngsters and hopefully they are part of the team now and in the future

It seems that Campbell was offered the job two weeks ago

I did like McDonald and after what we achieved at the end of last season was looking forward to this season, it didn’t start well, but after the Dunbar game that is when he should have resigned. Football has been shite to watch and I for one have stopped going to games. New manager, don’t see Campbell wanting it, too early for Smith. I would suggest Gary Jardine at Civil Service, experienced manager, ex player and he did bring Edinburgh City up from the Lowland league.

Been looking for a left back ever since Naysmith left, Trouten is so slow which leaves a massive hole in the middle of the park Rumours say that McManus will leave in the January window? Out early in the Scottish Cup, big money spent on Austin don’t think there will be much incoming transfer activity in January

Denham not an East Fife player, he was signing for Alloa until his injury

Wrong

The early bird = £15 for the 18 games this is the same price it was 3 or 4 years ago Its the same prices as last season Reducing the price of a ticket will not mean more season tickets sold

We can loan players in February so still time
-
Yesterday was dire no mistake there. Is McDonald the man I am not sure We have a signed left back, yes another youngster and a left back on loan two of them on the bench every week does nothing for them but we still carry on with Murdoch at LB and every time needs to turn to put it on his right drop Mercer who is just going through the motions. Trouten was absent second half but stayed on, Shepherd was not getting anything I agree the manager needs to be someone with experience and not frightened to make decisions and to demand 100% of everyone if I paid at the gate yesterday I would not be coming back
-
At least three weeks until we find out who has the Managers job as the Chairman is away on holiday Today was worse than anything I have saw with Crawford, team was disjointed, McDonald’s substitutions didn’t change anything. Slattery who has been a good servant to the club is passed it, other senior players looked uninterested and Shepherd could still be at Bayview and even being there himself would not win a challenge I am getting worried and I guess others will be feeling the same The referee was a disgrace and an embarrassment to his profession Albion could have had 5 or 6 today

East Fife v Stirling Albion - “D-Day”

Voice of reason spot on and the ref was an embarrassment to his profession no pot of gold at Bayview today -
QoTS he had to cut the squad at EC he formed the squad that got promoted when at a meeting at EC he asked what his budget was for next season he was told he would not be there so he left We need someone who can work with these youngsters

The club is in talks already about having a footpath from the station to the ground
-
It was £8 at Spartans on Saturday

It was not a ‘kick about’ Kevin was at the side of the park with his son. Speaking with Kevin that day it was clear that Kevin was not in SC plans to be playing the next season but Kevin was hoping to be still involved at the Club in a coaching role. That didn’t happen
