He has got a very good reputation as a good young coach however, and I’m not saying it’s not merited, he is very active in the predominantly West Coast Scottish media therefore has cleverly built up a huge number of advocates amongst his stakeholders. He also has the advantage on an Old Firm link and as you know that’s invaluable in Scotland.

Am I the only one getting irked by this "well researched" fact that Falkirk's win rate is less than promoted teams over the last 18 months? It's a bit like the old one whereby scientists had carried out extensive research and were able to conclude that approximately 50% of all married people were men! Falkirk haven't won the league in the last two seasons. It's not rocket science then to prove that their points return is, generally, somewhat lower than teams that have.

None of which excuses the way Deans treated the question that was ultimately asked. Not saying it did, just that the whole narrative from the questioner was a lot of needless smoke and mirrors flannel. He could have asked the question he did in about three lines and I could see what Deans was trying to (very badly) say about it.

I thought the Rawlins guy spoke pretty well.

Think it was more to do with in comparison to the win rate of the last 36 games, showing that it’s getting worse, not better.

Hetherington is a terrific player, as he proved for several years at Alloa, including the last four where he was a key player in our promotion and then three years in the Championship, when he was even more effective, with his offensive pressing, all action style and ability to play a bit too.

Difficult for me to argue with how well he is doing at Falkirk as I haven't seen him play (apart from our 2-0 win, when he looked a bit subdued in a stricter holding role, although I thought he did OK that day).

Sounds like part of the problem is that either he's being shackled a bit by the formation of the team/his role. Although I'm certain he isn't nearly as bad as 'dugmeat'.

Nah he’s utter pish. Just cause he stood out at an Alloa side that got sent packing to league 1 means absolutely f**k all I’m afraid.

Anyone who applauded that shite off the park needs to take a look at themselves.

Only manager I wouldn't replace Sheerin with is Padraig Harrington

Fair play to those who went but f**k me, boiz lost their nut at the leveller. I was stone faced watching it on the laptop.

So far I've seen every game except Alloa. I'm not wanting to be controversial but it's going to be that way unfortunately. I think we'll win this league, we are the best team in the league and just because a couple of excellent performances doesn't mean we're great a couple of bad results doesn't mean we're terrible. From what I've seen if we had a 20+ goalscorer we'd win the league by miles but we don't so it'll be tighter but we will win it.

*feel free to quote this back to me at the end of the season if we don't win the league as by that stage I couldn't feel any worse anyway 😂

We’ve lost as many as we’ve won so I have no idea why you would make that comment.

  6. In my late 20s and been going to home and away games without fail for the best part of 10 years. Would never have thought about missing a game.

Didn’t buy a season ticket this season due to the absolute scum who run this club and haven’t missed it at all.

Went along today and left with the best part of 25 minutes to go and couldn’t have cared one bit.

Club is absolutely finished as far as I’m concerned unless serious change happens (eg Holt gtf). Never felt so empty when looking at FFC.

Then again, Gary Deans said no one else could do a better job than him 🤣

To all the numpties who purchased a season ticket this season, you’re just as much to blame.

Thought Keena played OK today, kept a hold of the ball when played into him and linked up play well. He also won the penalty same as last week, I would have him taking the pens in place of Morriston to be honest.

Did you see his penalty against Airdrie last season?

The arrogance and entitlement is astounding. Don’t get me wrong I actually thought Falkirk were better for large spells and will comfortably be near the top of the table come the end of the season but that type of attitude is why it’s a big GIRUY tbh

Was a really good win for your lot today. Brilliant goal and a great defensive performance. Simon Murray was the difference.

  9. Folk have been all over BPM recently regarding him trying to put a lid on the start we’ve had (IN LEAGUE FUCKING ONE, JESUS CHRIST).

I absolutely agree with him. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the start Sheerin has had. But f**k me. Been a really tough read in recent weeks. We beat East Kilbride and folk lost the plot saying everything was rosy 🤦🏻‍♂️

Sheerin got it wrong in the second half. To lose to Queens Park at home was a fucking embarrassment. Still not beat a full time team in this league 😂.

I can’t stand the SPFL but I’m in no way going to start pointing the finger of accountability at them before our club. Our board can’t even tell us about a half a million pound investment. You don’t seem to care about that yet demand the names of the SPFL board. The SPFL are awful but they’re not the ones responsible for the situation we’re currently in.

    Spot on.

I’d rather just pretend Holt didn’t exist because the more I think about the team we currently have and his attitude at the Q&A, the more raging I become.

    Ignorance is bliss.

I just got round to it this week, his attitude at the Q&A was unbelievable. One of the main reasons I feel no connection to the club at the moment.

We are attracting the standard of players our level merits.  Would anybody want to go and work for a firm that has a despised board of directors a reputation for sacking management. Getting rid of employees. Treating the customer base with disrespect.

Of course not ! You would politely decline their invitation and tell them to stuff it.

We will be the go to place for those that have no other choice. As shown on the signings to date and even then 2 - 3 years contracts to tempt them.

That is the reality of the situation and girning about it ain't going to change it.

So you also agree that the team looks pish?
