Falkirk were not great but I would love to play against our defence they are abysmal. Currie had grease on his gloves. Why did WG think these guys could be a defence to build he was blindsided. However gets this job has to firefight for 5 months then build his own team of experience

It's going to be such a laugh looking back at Paton's goal celebration on the highlights.
Need a pic of the celebration asap.

I know it's the diddiest of diddy cups but this crowd is really, really bad even considering.

That Gary Oliver miss is even worse on replay. Bust of a signing.
Hogarth is an absolute mess in the goals as well. When is PJ back?
Another 2 points dropped. This team is nowhere near winning a title haha.

Seems a lot of pish about hee haw. There's nothing actually in the first statements that ain't true. Both Dunfermline and Edinburgh came to TFS and stuck ten men behind the ball. Neither team obviously believed that by making it an open game they could come away with anything or they wouldn't have set up that way. It worked for Dunfermline as we gifted them a goal , it didn't for Edinburgh and that's that.
Because Dunfermline had zero need to come out all guns blazing, they were rightfully top of the league by 4 points prior to the game. Don’t know what’s so hard to understand about that.

Penalty was one of those that they never ever used to give but now do. For years late tackles in the box when a player was shooting or crossing were overlooked by officials. I think he's trying to block the cross but makes a bit of a mess of it.
It’s 100% a penalty, get a grip.
Absolute needless tackle from Henderson.

Draw was a fair result overall but the game was changed with the gift of a penalty.
Some of the football in that first half was sublime.

What’s the script with getting tickets for the away end? There’s no chance I’ll be able to pick tickets up at our club shop between 8-4.

Story goes they didn't want to sign him, even announced him as leaving, before Norwich reminded Hibs the loan agreement included them needing to sign him for an agreed fee if he played a certain number of games. Which he had.
Not an awful wee League Cup campaign aside from the minging performance v Clyde. The sticky tape and prayers starting XI in the first game v Falkirk done well and we defended well v Hibs and ended up unlucky not to take three points. Then, luckily, we did get three points. Bit annoying not to win the group but at least we're naw Hibs.1 -

Considering having 7 players missing from a squad of 19, the majority of whom would be in the first choice XI, you can't really knock much in that performance. The better team outwith the period of 11 v 10, just no real cutting edge. The concern is that the only attacking players in the missing seven were Muirhead and Easdale, so it shows you where we obviously still need to add quality to the squad if we're going to score goals.
Lol.

Still think he'll end up at Killie or St Johnstone, or at the worst top end championship side. It won't be us.
Will be a pretty grim drop if he falls to Morton or Ayr tbf.
