  1. What was the script with the feed tonight as well? The website guys are only ever visible when things are going well - volunteers or not - if we’re paying for a service it should be better than it is
  2. No surprise to see you back - gloating in defeat.
  3. To me this was the first time, since we embarked on our run of games, where we looked tired and lacked sharpness. result was the the right one, but can’t fault efforts of players, and nearly nicked an undeserving point. the Falkirk tv coverage is by far the best, but yer wee man Lewis is far too quick to cast opinion. Still you won’t have me criticising a volunteer .
  4. A game we would historically struggle with , but under Danny we have a decent record with the big games . Goody back is a must , where do we play Lang - in defence or up front ? Would get Ally benched to make an impact if needed, might even be tempted to put Howie in middle alongside Nicol or Thomson. Cuddihy was positive when he came on Tuesday- so hopefully the legs are ok and the options we have will get us over line.
  5. Completely agree on Mcstay - his ability to get us yards, very much missed. Nicol to me looks a far better fit in our current team than he did besides a grant it mcstay. Fair play to him though, he’s proved to be far more useful than I thought . Without getting dragged into how much Lang costs , or how much he cost us, the necessity to get him back was probably more out of two year deals handed out to the likes of rumbsby and mcniff. Both honest excellent servants, who who have both been decent recently. But not what we want or need to be looking up rather than battling the drop. Lang plays best with us, but has never seen us as anything other than a route to get to full time , which is fair enough. Still think he’s not as good as he thinks and would benifit by staying and becoming a more rounded player. He’s at his best with us , rather than what he was with Dumbarton or Dunfermline. With Raith signing Berra - will he even be a starter?
  6. Yeah I’d say our form isn’t awful, with difficult fixtures and the very real problems part time players will be having trying to even be available for these games . Thursday a big game , but typical Clyde woukd be to struggle then and pick up points next two away games
  7. People make mistakes - and I’m sure this was a genuine one - not down to a dictatorship.
  8. Here’s hoping we don’t get by St Johnstone or the agm will be postponed again
  9. Just need to find a way to keep it away from Danny .
  10. Absolutely - his presence in these types of games let’s him show his worth. my word he didn’t even get booked .
  11. Commentary and coverage poor - Benarma a physical presence up front for them
  12. Millar was a dreadful appointment, and up there with Brown and Chapman as worst ever manager’s you won’t miss him - he also has an extremely high opinion of himself for someone who has been an abject failure everywhere
  13. Can see your point . Although would argue a fit and available first 11 has sufficient experience . Could also argue IMO the mistakes of keeping Love, Lamont, Cuddihy, Mcniff and Rumbsby and not replacing with upgrades again goes back to the recruitment and retention at the time . Of course Covid and dodgy behind the scenes will not have helped
