  1. It’s ok arabs, I’d say Utd are favourites to go up next season with that appointment.
  2. Some of the worst penalties I’ve seen at professional level. They looked to have no believe that they were gonna score.
  3. Whats with the double asterisk? Have Aberdeen died twice since i was last on here?
  4. I changed teams around 2012 from Rangers to Sevco. I just couldnt resist the lure of Sevco, at the time they had guys like Kevin Kyle and Ross Perry, and dont get me started on Charles Green, I had never seen such integrity in one man. Rangers just seemed like a busted flush at this point. Anyways, it has proven to be a great decision, we have went on to win 54 league titles in 6 years, a feat that is unmatched globally, and we are now the envy of world football.
  5. Plus its a breath of fresh air to see football actually being discussed in a Sevco thread, albeit it about Aberdeen and not Sevco. Can't be too ungrateful I suppose...
  6. Don't want to go into a major argument here but can't you see how hard it would be for Aberdeen to win 34 games of football? Why don't Hamilton Accies and Thistle just do the same. Aberdeen are a decent side and any decent professional footballer at Scottish Premiership level is capable of playing a blinder on his day and helping his team to a shock victory against Celtic. But over the course of the season consistency is the key and consistency costs money. For example, Neymar, C. Ronaldo and Messi all cost a fortune because they consistently play well. Some players can match Ronaldo over the 90 mins then be dug shite the next. Celtic players currently can play at a higher level over more games then any other team in the league, coincidentally they have the largest wage bill in the league by a stretch. Aberdeen done well beating us to 2nd spot last year as shite as we were when you consider we have a budget more than double theirs. The sheep can't hide from their poor record at Ibrox and Celtic park as it is dismal and should be better but to suggest they should just win 34 games and win the league is too far fetched.
  7. Wasn't there a period of time where the top flight didnt have a sponsor? Anyways it would be hard to be specific in terms of numbers, but surely 2 teams battling is better than 1 team winning by 20 points a season in a commercial sense going forward? In an ideal world it would be good if Aberdeen and the Edinburgh clubs could compete with celtic too but its almost impossible.
  8. 'Lets all laugh at Rangers' isn't it a bit disrespectful to laugh at the dead? I am not happy with this!!
  9. I was shocked to see this as well, I think you need to question the mentality of the teams that play us at ibrox, they should just be letting us win...
  10. The irony is that Rangers Media being down is probably more of an inconvenience for celtic fans than it is Rangers...
  11. Last year I would have agreed totally, in fact if you go back 12-18 months I wouldn't have batted an eyelid if he was released, but id say he has improved defensively, not the finished article but definitely better. I think Candeias has helped him out with that. In the last game against Aberdeen at Ibrox it was his defending in the last 10 mins that got us the 3 points. He still has the odd mistake in him though, Re the hibs game.
