  1. Every time I think about that Christie interview I start to cry. Unexplainable how much this game meant
  2. Wondering if anyone has seen a database anywhere with the full pyramid updated to include the new West of Scotland Football League? Been trying to make one in the editor but I cannae figure out the conferences so hoping someone else has made one.
  3. Given the club themselves are yet to publicly make any announcement I don't think it's my place to yet. I will say that it's not a Tayside club
  4. Normally a lurker on this website but thought I'd pass on that I heard from a mate yesterday and apparently an SJFA east region club is leaning towards a late application to join the EoS.
  5. Take this with a grain of salt but, What I have heard is that there will be some posturing and uncertainty for the next few months until eventually sometime before 31 of March the ERJFA and EoSFL will announce a merger of sorts in which EoS will become the sole league in tier 6 but previous ERJFA clubs will be integrated into the EoSFL league structure. That's all I have heard so not sure which ERJFA clubs will go where. Again grain of salt as just what I've heard
  6. Beginning to quite like this concept, a few strange placements ie Netherlands in group A but should work itself out and I like that it gives some smaller nations a chance at qualifying.
  7. Hi all quick question, I recently downloaded a 18-19 Scottish pyramid db with all the EoSFL changes included. It has been brilliant and I have thoroughly enjoyed playing as Preston Athletic in the conference C. However having finished 2nd in that conference and thus being put into the EoS premier for the next season, when June 25 comes around and all the leagues in Scotland gets their fixtures the EoS premier doesn't and just says "This league has not been scheduled yet". There is also no ladder or anything, does anyone know what this means or how to fix it?
  8. A way to early prediction in what looks to be a very competitive league: 1. Linlithgow Rose 2. Broxburn Athletic 3. Camelon Juniors 4. Jeanfield Swifts 5. Preston Athletic 6. Blackburn United 7. St. Andrews United 8. Heriot Watt University 9. Edinburgh United 10. Craigroyston 11. Stirling University EoS 12. Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 13. Ormiston
  9. Exactly, makes the idea that there is a magical cut off number that the EoSFL can't pass to be a desperate scare tactic
  10. Ridiculous that they have said that as its patently false. I am lead to believe that every club that has applied will be accepted, the EoSFL wouldn't have extended the deadline had they wanted to stop the influx.
  11. The sooner this team gets out of the lowland league the better. Should never have been allowed into senior football
  12. I think St Andrews are a near certainty to be accepted since they are in Fife, which is in traditional EoSFL country. Jeanfield will be interesting, can see EoSFL not being overly keen but think they will get in ultimately as EoSFL is their correct place in tier 6 atm.
  13. If there is say 37 applicants maybe Stirling Uni will be told to remove their reserve team. Now that its basically going to be an all encompassing pyramid for the East I can't see a place for reserve sides especially is the choice is between them and Linlithgow for example.
  14. Angus and Dundee are a bridge too far for the EoSFL I believe. It's a shame as they have no where really to go but they are not in the EoSFL catchment area and I can't see present members clubs such as Coldstream and Tweedmouth too keen on a potential 6 hour round trip to Dundee.
  15. I can't imagine the EoSFL rejecting any applicants, while 36 does seem like a logical number really up to 42 clubs could apply and they would split into 3 leagues of 14.
  16. Seemingly could be 10+ new teams entered in the Lowland/Eos U20s league. Surely 2 leagues would be set up for next season.
  17. Anybody heard anything about increased Promotion places for next year? 0.5 up from potentially 32+ teams seems ridiculous.
  18. If Arniston and Penicuik are gone then you'd imagine that Newtongrange wouldn't be too far away. Really think the SJFA East have to have a more significant change of league structure next year as clubs in Lothians will end up paying a fortune in buses fees to Tayside every other week. Perhaps regionalised leagues Lothian and Fife/Tayside with play offs between the 2 winners for the overall East champion?
  19. With all these meetings for junior clubs have there been anymore late applications other then Dunbar and Craigroyston?
  20. What happens if rumours on here are true and Pencuik leave for the EoS, Newtongrange decide at their meeting to leave or other clubs leave.
  21. The east juniors are completely disintegrating, what a shambles this has turned into. Disgraceful leadership from the SJFA has turned what should be a tidy merger into a messy free for all.
  22. Wait so are Penicuik a late application? Thought they voted no to pyriamid in the survey
  23. All sorts of rumours in the junior forums last night. Not sure how reliable but Linlithgow, Penicuik and Bo'ness all said to be interested.
