It was mentioned at the meeting that we had to nominate which ground we would play at next season by 31st March. Would be interesting to know if it was Lesser that we nominated.

Agree with the generally positive response to Wednesday's meeting, but I am disappointed that we are going to open with a capacity under 1,000. We got a 2,000+ attendance in our first game back after the Commonwealth Games (in the middle of winter), and with the amount of engagement with local schools and community groups recently you would hope there's a lot of potential fans out there who would want to watch us at Lesser when we return. I'm concerned that if we turn people away once they might not bother to come back. We all want to be back at Lesser asap but I would rather wait until we have a larger capacity and we can have as many people as possible getting into the habit of coming to every home game right from the off. Think we are being a bit unambitious to open with a sub 1,000 capacity - even if we got it up to around 2,000 somehow it would be a lot better for our return.

Bit of a riddy for the Clyde number 7 for throwing a hissy fit when we took a free kick for offside three yards inside the Clyde half because he doesn't know the offside rules.

Plus: didn't shit the bed when we went ahead and concede our customary soft equaliser. Minus: missing Peter Grant for next week's game against Cove.

Well done to them, it's a pity the club don't advertise their fixtures in advance. Talking of not advertising matches, according to a post on the domestic cup forum we are playing a Glasgow Cup tie against Celtic at Newlandsfield on Tuesday with a 1:00pm kick off. Not publicising a game that has been organised for the middle of a working day, it's almost as if the club don't want fans at games.

It was done for any of our coaches and the club supported them as far as they wanted to go with their badges.

The workmen seem to have switched over to the west side of Lesser since the metal frame went up on the east side. There's been some work in the dressing room area below the pavilion, and it looked today like they were demolishing the concrete terracing on the west side which had been poured by the original contractors 18 months ago.

I know Queen's have paid the fees for our youth coaches to go through their various badges, a few up to UEFA A license level, so the coaches do get a benefit in kind out of their efforts. No idea about the community side of things though.
