It's clearly a mentality thing with Utd. They have the players, they were the better team for the first 30 mins. I love when teams are so drilled to pass the ball from the back no matter what the pressure, that they lose a goal rather than just take their medicine and clear the ball.

I mean who would inspire you to play for them more - Jurgen Klopp or Eric Ten Hag ? Look at the reaction at Half time, Klopp sprinting down the touchline and Ten Hag looks like he can't be arsed with anything.

Fair enough but they've been pumping us for 20+ years. Surely it hasn't always been down to they just have a better system etc. However as the years have passed the gap is increasing. It's a shame because Scotland has potential to compete with these nations.

Can't say I like any of them mate. But I think any team needs some nasty characters in there. Just trying to imagine not being Scottish and looking at our team from the outside, you don't see any real unlikeable characters. Russell is just a bit of a jester, there's no malice in him. Hogg got under people's skin but he's gone. It's all a bit soft. Maybe I'm just trying too hard to find a reason why we are on the whole just not as good as our Celtic brothers Ireland and Wales and haven't been for 20+ years.
