  1. Great to see. With the Alloa game hopefully being a historic occasion would it be too much to hope for that Falkirk TV have multiple cameras at the game so that we can see the crowd in all its glory? Cameras behind the goals even? I'm sure I watched highlights of one of our recent league games and the other club (can't remember who it was, sorry had )at least 2 cameras in use.
  2. This. We will have other chances to win league titles in the future but we will NEVER get another chance of an invincibles season, this is potentially a once in a lifetime event. While watching the game on Falkirk TV on Saturday night I was pacing up and down that much that I wore a hole in the living room ceramic tiles. My downstairs neighbour was fuming.
  3. “The best place to defend is in the opposition penalty box.” Jock Stein We'll be fine.
  4. https://news.sky.com/story/met-police-chief-mark-rowley-should-resign-says-antisemitism-campaigner-called-openly-jewish-by-officer-13119818 In the first apology, Metropolitan Police Assistant Commissioner Matt Twist maintained Mr Falter's presence could be "provocative", but in a second statement retracted that view. "The use of the term 'openly Jewish' by one of our officers is hugely regrettable," the statement said. "We know it will have caused offence to many. We reiterate our apology. "We have reflected on the strength of the response to our previous statement. In an effort to make a point about the policing of protest we caused further offence. This was never our intention. We have removed the statement and we apologise. "Being Jewish is not a provocation. Jewish Londoners must be able to feel safe in this city."
  5. Welcome, brother, you have finally seen the light, eh?
  6. Anybody else got buffering issues with Falkirk TV? I can accept it a bit when we are away from home but not great when we are at TFS. Never saw the f*cking goal because of the buffering!
  7. I'd like Annan to beat Embra and QOTS to beat Stirling. Not that I've anything against Stirling, just that it would make Annan slightly less of a threat against us next week.
  8. Maybe better if they don't chant "there's only one Ross MacIver", it might be misunderstood.
  9. Great point. With this in mind, and knowing how close the dressing room is, I would hope that MacIver will be voted the PPOTY at the end of the season. Updated / edited to include the Scottish Sun article. https://www.thescottishsun.co.uk/sport/12515377/league-1-team-of-the-year-falkirk/
  10. Funnily enough I see it the other way around re: Morrisons goal. He hits it from fully 30 yards and it is hit with such power and from such a distance that even with the keeper getting two hands to it he still can't keep it out. What a strike.
  11. Yes, I think it is looking like Cal picking up a double of Player of the Season and Goal of the Season. We all thought that they were going to be his goodbye gifts to us yet we have the added bonus of him turning out in The Navy Blue next season too. If Carlsberg made football seasons...
  12. Didn't have to think for a nanosecond about it. Voted already, Morrison vs Montrose. That goal, both for its execution and its importance, had me dancing about my apartment like a daftie. Callumn
  13. Cheers. So we just need a time machine then?
  14. If we were to remain unbeaten against Kelty and Annan I could see a final, mini surge in interest in tickets for this game from neutrals just so that they could possibly witness a bit of history. Would we be permitted to sell a few hundred standing tickets for along the east side of the stadium, provided the Falkirk allocation in the north stand is full? Or would the barriers have to be more substantial and reinforced to allow this to happen? And would that be expensive to organise?
  15. Here you are @ShaggerG, route to the stadium. That's what you call a long road for a short cut.
  16. Here you go. https://www.facebook.com/Officialacciesfc/videos/3714529655489026
  17. I think that after his experience at Hamilton that Tait will appreciate more than anyone the benefits of playing for someone that you respect and playing in a team that plays good football and with people that you like. While I don't think that we will get him signed up as one of our own players I do think that we will be favourites to get him on loan again.
  18. If you look at those average attendances the main beneficiaries of the Navy Blue Pound were Hamilton and Stirling with 3,400 and 3,000 Falkirk fans respectively boosting their figures. Without our fans Hamilton's average attendance would only be 1065 and Stirling's would only be 867. I've previously mentioned how we boosted Montrose's figure when 2,400 Bairns fans visited.
  19. I think that you speak for many of us on here, I wanted McGlynn binned at half-time at Airdrie, I was raging (watching it on Falkirk TV). We've to be grateful to the board for keeping calm heads and making the right decision.
  20. Slightly late to the party with regards to Accies' / Rankin's performance to date this season. If we take the three head to heads where Falkirk took all 9 points and say instead that the Accies won all three of these games then there would be an 18 point swing from where we currently stand now: Falkirk, instead of 87 points would have 78 and the Accies, instead of 65 points would have 74 points so we would still be 4 points ahead of them. It isn't that the Accies have done badly, it is just that Falkirk have been out of this world.
  21. My, my, my, you need have a word with your fashion consultant, that is sooooooo yesterday! Hoops make you look thinner.
