  1. Referees

Oh the Irony, the ball was clearly, or was it, handled by a Stoneyburn player. Confirmed by Stoneyburn committee man at the time and also by the offending player. The behaviour of the Stoneyburn manager cannot and should not be excused.
  2. The Queen's Park 2018-19 Thread

You are certainly no Dumbo and you make a valid point. However the football landscape in Scotland is changing dramatically and everybody knows that money talks. Queens are vulnerable as amateurs and could easily be swallowed up by the big Ayrshire, East region or West region clubs. Many are already firmly established with the potential to grow into bigger clubs than a fair share of SPL clubs. Queens have not had the need to be anything other than Amateurs in the past, time to look to the future.
  3. The Queen's Park 2018-19 Thread

My worry for Queens would be that they will get swallowed up by the Pyramid system if they continue to stay amateurs.
  4. TRANSFER .BRYAN KING

The Dale had the strongest midfield in the league last season, would be disapointing to lose such an important player.
  5. Kilsyth Rangers 2018/19

Good luck big Jim and Goldie, 2 great guys that deserve to be a success at a great club.
  6. Junior football, what is the future?

I would support this proposal in principal. More games, more variety, more local derbies, less travel and an accurate ranking system going forward.
  7. Bo'ness United 2017/18

The right decision has been made at last, big Junior clubs like Boness can thrive in a pyramid system, big games, big crowds, onwards and upwards.
  8. Bo'ness United 2017/18

Left back Ryan Hoggan from Alloa, can also play centre half or holding midfielder. Quality player, sweet left foot, destined for senior career. Excellent addition, only 19, will get better with every game. Down side is if he does well and stays fit he will be back in the first team at Alloa. Hopefully a run in the Scottish will keep him at the BUs until June.
  9. The Falkirk FC Thread

Well done to Alex Smith on a great result on Saturday. Absolute gentleman, deserves every bit of success possible. On another note, I would be shocked if Falkirk did not appoint Hartley as new manager. Having experienced his methods at Alloa, he is an excellent coach and would be a massive influence on the Academy. Imo he would take the club to another level.
  10. Goalkeeper availability

    Are you available tomorrow?
  11. Result of the day

    Oakley v Broxburn
  12. Bo'ness United 2017/18

Scottish cup draw tomorrow and the start of another adventure. The BUs are long overdue a good run, get behind the team and dare to dream.
  13. Bo'ness United 2017/18

Great for the players being developed but not so good if you want to be challenging for honours.
  14. East Region South League 2017/8

Edinburgh now clear favourites for the title with Mcbookie, Justified? Who are the ones to watch?
  15. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

2nd Marty goal was definitely onside as I seriously had a better view than the linesman, when the ball was played the 2 central defenders and the full back were playing him on...bad decision. The first one was closer but it looked as if Marty had got himself onside before the ball was played. Other than that lithgae were the better team but the BUs finishing was in a different league.
  16. Your day will come bairns fans and Falkirk will be back in the SPL where they deserve to be. Houston is a good manager but taking off Baird was a boost to United as he is a constant threat. But keep the faith and Houston will take you up and keep you there. As for United, had to dig in over 2 legs to get through but the tank looked almost empty. It will take a monumental effort and a bit of luck in the final but with Simon Murray on fire we have a chance. Let's do this United.
  17. Credit to falkirk, they played to their strengths and probably deserved at least a draw. Falkirk are massive favourites now in my eyes and only a season best display can pull us through.
  18. Linlithgow Rose 2016/2017

My sentiments exactly, what odds would I get for 4-0?
  19. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

Last month i watched the BU's easily beat a full strength Stenhousemuir team 3-1 at Ochilview. The depth and quality in the squad was evident to all. I WOULD HAVE BET MY HOUSE THAT THE BU'S WOULD HAVE A GREAT END TO THE SEASON. Unfortunately we have not won a game since. It is hard to find a reason for the poor form but I can guarantee that the negativity of some supporters will not be helping. Get behind the team and we could STILL have a great end to the season, starting at Tranent tomorrow...come on the BU's.
  20. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

Wright and keast proved to be the difference on Saturday, both player's would have made an impact imo.
  21. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

Good addition and another one for the future, at this rate we will be taking all the honours in 2020
  22. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

Tough game predicted on Saturday as weather and pitch are gonna be levellers.
  23. Bo'ness United 2016 / 2017

Scullion and Simpson played on Saturday so I don't see your point WR. My point is you can be on the bench and still be a quality player if the player in your position is playing well. Also, assuming all players were fit and available, tell me the last time we had the equivalent of 2 teams that were as good as each other. Just my opinion and just trying to be positive.
