  1. Our condolences to the family of former committee man and Treasurer Joe Smith who passed away yesterday morning.

Many of you who are on a committee of junior clubs may have dealt with Joe when our clubs met.

Joe was one of the men who kept our humble club going for decades and will be sadly missed.

    RIP Joe

  2. We will bring a decent crowd. We have had a small lull in games but hopefully we bounce back on saturday and its a great game for both sides.

Toying with going to the Broughty game instead of Tannadice.

St Rochs any good? Will they bring a decent following?
  3. Has he though?

Time to move on now that he has resigned the Association will go from strength to strength and all will be well with the world.
The haters will need to look for someone else to hate.
The president for Racist and Bigotted  language has been sent so hopefully that will send a message to all member clubs
  4. That was also my thought. Although it's fully understandable to defend the honour of the club, it is a risk given that the Association and the named publication are such close bed fellows. Hopefully not.
I hope not too. But you never know with the dinosaurs
  5. Club statement regarding an article in The Scottish Sun.Screenshot_20200107_081324.thumb.jpeg.e155ca8ee93f234e99c1384b9016a1e1.jpeg
Fair play and standing up to them but You will wait a while for the apology and no doubt the publications friends within the archaic SJFA will look dimly on this statement and hit you with some form of draconian sanctions.

  6. Still looking for attendance / headcount for following from weekend if anyone can help?

  7. Our next 3 league fixtures are away from home along with an away West tie. If we get an away draw in the Scottish then we will be away for all 5 Saturdays in November. It will be a case of wait and see if our games are on.
St Rochs were the same for october. All league fixtures away and then a cup replay and another cup game away. Tbh I think Kennie is trying yes there are still flaws BUT it is night and day from his predecessor.
Just got to roll with it and get the game played that can be played.
  8. Lets hope the scottish cup result gives the lads some belief that they can begin to pick up league points in the next few weeks.Do the Candy supporters feel they have enough, not to be drawn into a relegation fight, and acheive a mid table finish, or were some expectiing a promotion challenge this year.Going to Renfrew and winning was a fine effort and suggests that on their day St Rochs are a match for most teams in the Championship.Best wishes from Beechwood, and i hope i'll get my visit to JMP in this years cup ties.
Enough to get out of a relegation dog fight if the players keep up the work they have done in the past 2 games.
Be good to welcome you to JMP
