From clubs official Twitter
Our second signing for the new season is defender Barry Russell
Welcome to the Candy Barry

It sure would. Think it will be an academy aide possibly sprinkled with 1 or 2 better known names. It would be brilliant for the community to see Celtic in the backyard and I think they might need to make all ticket as the crowd would be huge
Would be a big operation to pull off.1 -
Was thinking more of the wee man. Seeing his 1st team playing his 2nd team.I get married the day before lol but I'm actually not too fussed about it but for the club it would be huge
Good money spinner for the club hopefully.

Be glad to welcome you. Hope your first visit is enjoyable as it can be and yous dont leave with points Haha.Looking forward to my first visit to the JMP today. Even better knowing that having secured our Championship place for next season that there will be a quick return for a second visit.[emoji4]1 -
Looking at the forecast it looks highly unlikely but the weatherman can and has been wrong. The page has been depressingly quite this season in the absence of my big pal kinky and his fabulous writing.
Next Saturday weather permitting we face cambuslang rangers in the cup .
Im expecting a tough game which could go either way and only a fool would write them off.
I would like to congratulate cambuslang for battling through everything they have endured in recent months and i hope there fans turn up in good numbers on Saturday to back there team .

Sjfa out of pocket as official called it on then off. Not Whittlets fault.Would imagine it was a local ref then called off by the match ref
Whitletts now out of pocket as they need to pay Rossvale travel money and probably out of pocket on catering aswell bit it's shite for fans who are also out of pocket after traveling from north Glasgow to Ayr1 -
So very true seen a few refs show up for a pitch inspection and say lets see how it goes will check it before kick off. And low and behold game off so they get half pay for pitch inspection and full pay as they showed up for the game. The referee and linesmen have already been paid so no incentive for them to hang around getting freezing and wet, if they can get it called off some of them will.

The welcome is extended to one and ALL. Just because it doesnt fit your narrative it becomes false. Plus larkhall bring a grand total of zero fans just committee members. It wasn't somebody from Larkhall who was on claiming that their ground and fans were as pure as the driven snow with a warm welcome to everybody. That welcome doesn't apply to Larkhall Thistle so I put him straight. The point has nothing to do with what happened at Larkhall so your tit for tat pettiness is irrelevant.0 -
There is no offical segregation at JMP. We provided a small shed in the traditional away end so away fans who choose the syand there could shelter.I'm sure the genuine decent supporters and committee members of St Roch's do extend a warm welcome to all visitors - even Larkhall Thistle - but that does not apply to a considerable section of your support in my experience. You're doing your best to keep the peace with segregation and a couple of local police stationed to protect the visitors but that doesn't count as a warm welcome in my view.
Local police show up as and when they want not to protect visiting fans as there is nothing to protect against.0 -
Yes all visitors are warmly welcomed. All visitors?2 -
Regardless of what is said on here a warm welcome awaits all visitors to JMP. Not to warm you feel yous can get 3pts lolI've spent all night looking at changing my identity. I was looking at leaving the country but i'm not too sure how Brexit is going to affect that. Its a real quandary.
If i come across GOTW i will buy him a pint and sit and discuss football and anything else he wants to. You may call it shitebaggery others will call it reasonable adult behaviour .
I don't feel i need to apologise for my opinions as i'm sure GOTW won't about his . What i will apologise to the man for is my misuse of his profile name as it gives idiots something to use. If i had thought about it long enough i would not have done it.
Anyway i'm really looking forward to visiting JMP. I've family who originated from Garngad and a few if them are travelling through for this game with me. Obviously im hoping for an Arthurlie win but a point would be a good result for us.5 -
Thank you for the compliments. We try our best up at JMP. welcome anytime.Comfortable win for the Candy against to me, what looked like a glorified 21s team, can see how Kello have struggled and they were very lucky to be level at half-time. Jordan Logan impressed me and deserved his goal after a few near misses. Will be back for the cup game, decent punters and setup at JMP.0 -
A warm welcome awaits.Off to the Candy game today. Been meaning to go for ages as I've always lived local, but with Thistle down in Dumfries today this is the ideal time.0 -
