  1. Same deal get a link - pay for PPV - watch https://airdriefc.univtec.com/home This is Airdrie's I don't think they're directing people to it yet because it's a 24 hour pass. So if you were to buy it now it'd run out before the kickoff tomorrow.
  2. Honestly get fired into pixellot on twitter. Make sure to tag @alloaathleticfc so I don't miss it. My ambition is to get the second platform done before next week. In practice we may have to wait til the first league match but after that you'll have the choice of manual camera or pixellot. There's not a price saving if all the games are streamed this year. Basically your season ticket is just getting you first place in the queue to get in. Unless you are an OAP then by all means get your season ticket for a lot less!
  3. Pixellot - once they've the pricing - you'll get a link 1) sign up 2) buy a 24hr pass for PPV for the betfred 3) watch game For league games I've asked if we can give out all the games in bulk or we have to manually gift passes for season tickets. Not been told anymore on the coupons. If pixellot is terrible. There'll be more news to come.... Will be like Morton's system where you login to the club website. Hopefully that work can be done before next week.
  4. Yeah I'm certainly going to take it up with the powers that be to see what they think. I don't mind allocating someone some space beside me or god forbid sending them over to the empty away stand. Or make them all multitask like I do. Either's quite fair imo.
  5. I can guarantee clubs will be lax in sharing their footage. It was a problem last year. It's the same problems with pictures in my opinion. Like I said when I do everything in one... I don't see the logic.
  6. Being honest though, not 100% percent sure of the logic to that decision. We had 4 cameras against Kilmarnock. It's not hard to give an away team some space of their own.
  7. Nonsense SD, we're sending our camera operator, website editor, social media guy, video analyst, graphic designer and sysadmin to all our games. Might even have a photographer at some games.
  8. I think Arbroath are too. We've got contingency in place in case it's a bit of a disaster. Would be a similar system to Morton where it's all integrated into the club website.
  9. There's a right to go to a pub. But no right to go to a football game. The NHS won't be overwhelmed by over 65's because they were socially distanced at a football game. I can't speak for the number of Sauchie's fans but the difference between no fans and 60 dotted around a standard football pitch is 300 quid at a fiver a go. Could Alloa put on a commercially viable event with social distancing? Maybe. It would be good to be able to try it. For smaller teams or for other small teams in the SPFL I can't understand any reason why not.
  10. They'll be let in because they're human beings and they've made the decision to buy a season ticket. If they can socially distance they can be treated like anyone else. But like I said I'm not expecting an over 65 to be charging round the stands. I'd say the restrictions are in place not to specifically protect them but not to overwhelm the NHS. Binning the season will lead to clubs going under. Sauchie Juniors our other local team have been very vocal. They need the fans or they need help. There is no binning the season and hoping they can pick up the pieces in a year or more. And I think that's why Mike says it's political. The test events showed that fans in stadiums can work. It's political will that's keeping any 'customers' out of stadiums.
  11. So here's the plan to that. It will be season ticket holders for the foreseeable future. We record everyone sitting where. When you're on the camera breaking social distancing you won't be back. Most of our season ticket holders are over 65s. Don't see them running 2m to hug their pal.
  12. I'll stump up my own opinion and say it's much safer for me to go to the football OUTDOORS than sit INSIDE the pub watching football for two hours. But ok hospitality will go under without customers so we let people in. Football is being thrown to the wolves make no mistake about it.
  13. I think we're going to look better than Morton. Not impressed with that effort.
  14. We had the same experience with dodgy tracking - Pixellot have patched their software and we've seen vast improvements in both the general framing and the tracking. Airdrieonian's too have had the updates - they offered their game against Albion Rovers free on the 29th and I didn't see one tracking drop-off during the game.
  15. Was thinking exactly this. Would be outraged if we haven't consulted the Irish, NI, Welsh and English teams too come to think of it.
  16. Honestly, SD there's some even more bizarre goings on happening in our Betfred cup group then!
  17. There's not enough tiers available from pixellot since they have FREE, MEMBER, PAID and soon(tm) they'll have PPV. Don't know if you've used Wyscout but the sign-in is similar to that. You have to boot the person off the other device to enter. I certainly don't have the answer to splitting the income just yet though. It's something I've just thought about today. Also pretty sure we can get away with sharing 40% after my fees are considered.
  18. As noted above most of the Championship clubs don't have massive squads. Last season we had games with 3 on the bench. I'm sure this 5 substitute thing was introduced because of the fixture pile-up of European, Domestic and National team football to take the strain off players. Don't see any argument for changing our regulations in the championship with a 27 game season. Why would we help Hearts? League 1 and 2 doing it seems bizarre too but each to their own...
  19. Well I don't do the emails. If you phone up that's the response you get. We've got a fairly good run in terms of setting up this stuff because our home games are: a) 3rd round Betfred (technically not promised to stream to season ticket holders but we will be streaming somewhere) b) first real season ticket game is 24th October. I don't think we have a way of differentiating season tickets from cup games this season with Pixellot. So you might end up making a killing on season tickets. If I set up a 'backup' manual streaming portal of my own I can differentiate between cup games and season ticket games so no luck. I'm actually looking at options based off of what Livingston say on the 10th. If they end up not streaming that game... And it sounds like they might not. Again we're waiting on pixellot for the coupon functionality. I could direct you to the Pixellot OTT but ours isn't finished yet. I need them to adjust their placeholder pricing, too.
  20. That's just amateur to include it in highlights though. Live I could understand. You get access to a panoramic view. I could manually fire that into Premiere and cut to just the area of the pitch that I was interested in. I asked Clyde if I could compare their footage with ours. They started telling me the file sizes were too big. You can literally send a link to games in seconds.
  21. The last thing is the tracking improvements. That's all down to pixellot. Hopefully by next week I can integrate the OTT site into our website. If any of you are season ticket holders, it's looking likely what'll happen is you'll get a coupon code from us. You make an account - you'll be prompted to buy a season ticket - enter the coupon code we've emailed you and you'll receive your 100% discount. Alternatively you make an account - and I manually go through all the accounts and gift a free season ticket. Hopefully the former.
