  1. When Keatings got booked for diving after getting wiped out, Inverness appealed and the referee clearly didn't even watch the footage. A complete lottery whether it is overturned. You pay for the privilege and you only get the fee returned if you win the appeal. On that note, Scott Taggart apparently booked against Annan. Referees have a vivid imagination.
  2. There's a limit of 5 domestic loans. International loans don't count to your quota but can't be made outside the regular transfer window which closed at the beginning of February.
  3. That's my commentary about cove sorted on Saturday. Serious offer if you fancy doing the commentary with Kieren pop up to the press box. My laptop's graphics card has burnt out and it will be a patchwork fix and likely technical chaos again tomorrow. My threat to delete one random player from the team sheet until I get a new device should be taken seriously now.
  4. Fan of a club that's running at a sustainable level at the required standard. Might even be accused of punching above its weight sometimes.
  5. Airdrie is something fixable in the first team category. Fairly sure it's personnel related due to not having a qualification in the category. If the option was employ someone or lose upwards of £300,000 the choice is easy. Peterhead and Kelty are likewise falling down in that first team category. Edinburgh have the issue of the stadium. That'll not be fixed any time soon. I quite like the idea of having the bronze license as a requisite because it means teams who invest in playing staff to the detriment of everything else and don't have the necessary infrastructure will never be allowed to push out the teams that are maintaining their standards.
  6. I stand corrected you and the Scotsman have both made that up.
  7. We loaned East Kilbride's Ally Roy in the last extended loan window so you're probably making that up.
  8. Needs swift investment in a new laptop to keep this club from going under imo.
  9. If you look past that disastrous first quarter it's not a bad looking league table.
  10. Aren't the schools off this week?
  11. https://pro.sony/en_IE/products/handheld-camcorders/pxw-z150 Fairly sure that's what they've got. That's the camera I wanted to get for us a good few years ago when it was a newer model. Would have made negotiations much easier had anyone known covid was coming but £3k was seen as a bit steep at the time. For ideal purchases I quite like the idea of this. You get great flexibility in less equipped stadiums with a gimbal or in this instance ptz and this is the top of the line Sony solution. Seen these used professionally recently in stadium shots replacing the spidercam systems.
  12. You were the one who said ALL RECORDS. 12-13 Queen of the South is probably a decent comparison. Could well pip their record but there's not much leeway left.
  13. I know it's easy to get ahead of yourself but Rangers 2013-14 is already unassailable with Falkirk's 5 draws this season.
  14. Think Montrose' Pixellot could use a window clean
  15. I'd hope the saving grace is that there's no more Stirling or Falkirk to be played at the Recs. The grandstanding troublemakers who climbed over the wall won't have the same audience and it'll get back to being about football. Fairly certain those people weren't in the ground either. Just coming outside specifically to cause problems.
  16. Going to have to resurrect posting in this thread.
  17. For reference. At a cursory glance not enough to make the playoffs.
  18. I went last night to gauge the opposition. Had a particular eye out for the ex-Alloa players. I was critical of Stirling's centre mids. Neither was involved. Why you are content to let the ball get hoofed over your head for 90 minutes instead of showing and playing some actual football? Barring Leitch getting involved a few times on the edge of the box I can't think of much contribution to the game. We had Murray Miller on loan last year and he's a bright technical midfielder - he's just small. Sure he'd have offered better value. Offord looked dynamic when he came on but I assume the shape went to a 4-2-3-1 at that point. Certainly didn't look like he was being used as a striker. Any early joy Stirling was getting was diagonal to Hilson running into the channels but that fell flat after the first 20 minutes when to me it looked like he had burnt his matches. Offord got a few years and a few yards on Hilson I'd wager. I would say on the left back Clark doesn't add much - but I don't think Stirling have too much guile beyond Carrick but he sits disciplined to set up a 3-2-5 with numbers in the box and hope Cummins can deliver. Marauding from left back probably was Callum Crane's crowning achievement scoring against Ayr United - We've been heavily right sided in chance creation for a while and it helps a lot when both wings can contribute.
  19. Despite agreeing with@bridge of allan bairns assessment of being a 'better team', we (Alloa) are very brittle. Queen of the South were abject when they came to ours but the other two games imo they've looked better to me than Montrose and Stirling and I wouldn't put it past anyone at this point to blunder into the playoffs. Going to watch those two tonight so I might update that opinion after some prime brexit ball. .
  20. I'm only in sunny Alloa but temperature due to drop tomorrow overnight. Would expect it'll just survive.
